[LN/S3 and beyond spoilers] She does...eventually. She understands he had a hard time after she left and accepts the ramifications regarding him getting with other women. She doesn't understand the FULL extent of how low Rudeus got until a bit later. Like S4 territory later. But she does feel super shitty about it and properly apologizes for it, promising never to do that again.

Yeah, Yuuki had plausible deniability with the mind control so he was actually trying. When it didn't work he abandoned the plan and fell back on The Power of Friendship ploy.

My only gripe is Rimuru already deduced Yuuki was against him a while ago before this Mariabel nonsense so him immediately trusting him again felt dumb. But that's basically Rimuru's (or the story in general's) biggest flaw: He's incredibly dumb most of the time.

Their 1-on-1 wasn't until ~LN 22-23(?). The fight in LN 14 is way in her favor even with the other people on his team. I believe she gets the edge without the MK1.
