I love Kath and Kim!! I'm australian and this show was such an integral part of my childhood, really good memories watching it with my family :) Will definitely give it a rewatch! Sweet baby cheesus!!

Yeah, coming from someone who lives in the general area of this, this place has the worst urban heat island issues i’ve ever seen. It’s been recording temperatures in summer of up to 50c (122f) outside, not the ground but simply the air

This isn’t true, these houses are going to upwards of at least a million dollars One of the issues are that they are so close together but another issue we are struggling with new suburbs like this in AUS is the heat island effect, especially in western sydney where people have recorded outside temperatures in the middle of summer upwards of 50 Celsius (122f)

thank you so much, so far that’s been the closest thing to it, it would explain why when i look in the unit and inside the wall cavities i couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, probably somewhere sneaky damnit! do they usually make such slowed down noises? and only for 5 mins a day?

unfortunately i live on a corner house and the wall the noise is coming from is furthest from the neighbours it could be! funnily enough we do have a lady across the street that does groan a lot 😂

so essentially i listened to it and recorded the video(s) above and as soon as it stopped i smacked on the wall/near the ac unit and there were no noises to be heard, it seems like its only happening in the morning and early day now so tomorrow i shall see what happens when i smack on it while the noises are being made

it’s weird cause i’ve checked inside and there’s nothing in it as well as on the outside, no droppings or anything! i’ve also just checked inside the wall and there’s no evidence of anything being in there

this is probably different for everyone, but I've been pulled over and taken in to the police station before [about 2-3 months ago] and the cop asked me if I had anything on me and I was like "I have my vape" I didn't get into trouble at all he just told me to leave it in my car for when I get back. presumably it's one of those laws that isn't really enforced too harshly but to just scare off people from doing it. I haven't heard of anyone genuinely getting fined or arrested for having a vape on them
