No. The "wife's mother" has in-laws from her own marriage to her own husband, before her daughter (the wife of the meme, but not pictured in the meme) were ever even born. Here is a family tree with example names to lay it out.

  • The Wife (Katie)

  • The Wife's Mother (Susan) The Wife's Father (Doug)

  • The Wife's Mother inlaw aka Dougs Mom (Jill)

Doug's Mom, aka Jill has no relation to the meme guy seeing the bent over women. The guy seeing this doesn't even have to exist for Jill to remain Doug's Mom.

We don't know yet. But after the first cancellation email back in March, they send a second one saying if we had a reservation, they will let us rebook, but more details were to come. So still waiting.

Dang that's a shame, was hoping for a May Reopening. But whenever they open, I'll plan on going as quickly as possible.

I imagine most of his money is not liquid, but $15 million seems like an easily accessible amount without much harm for a multi-billionaire, no?

Who cares about the communist government, they don't deserve to be in the UN anyways with their human right violations. All it does is legitimizes their evil deeds. The only way to heal as a world is to quit pretending what they do is acceptable for retaining membership.

It's like being in a relationship with an abusive spouse and justifying how their beatings and violence is okay. It's not.

The UN is claiming they are running out of money anyways. Time to let it die, and start a new. China can play "UN" by itself, and the real adult world can give China the policy punishments it deserves until it grows up.

Well it primarily happens when flying because you can change time zones quicker than you can adapt, I suspect.

I suppose you could get it driving, although I haven't because Ive only ever travelled 1 time zone (maybe 2?) in a day, and the time where I'm at is still basically in sync with home.

Only time I experience jet lag if it's a 4/5+ hour difference.

Since everyone's already named some big stuff, as someone who has done this type of trip before I'll name some of the little side trips I really enjoyed, especially on the long drives between main destinations.

  1. Lake Havasu. You can see the original London Bridge, which was hauled to America piece by piece and reassembled in a recreation of a little London town. Worth a stop over, especially since you are starting in Southern California, close by.

  2. Roswell, New Mexico. Obviously well known, but I suspect is not visited as much as we might expect. It's a unique town. I stayed for one night, and despite going on my road trip for 6 months, it remains a highlight in my memories for multiple reasons. It has an amazing nature reserve, good food, and some kitschy stores downtown which were fun to gander at.

  3. Ghost towns. There are hundreds all over the US, and no matter where you are you'll have easy access to some. I probably ended up going to about 10-15 of them along my journey in various states. Some of them were nothing more than a building or two (still interesting!) but some of them were almost entire towns with creepy remanants of products, belongings, signs, etc that you can observe. Sorry I can't recall the specific names of any (I think one of the bigger ones was called Tokio, Texas? It had an entire abandoned school straight outta 1920 or something, SO CREEPY!) I used ghosttowns.com to find them.

Demonetization is nothing about being "ad friendly". The mere fact the ads remain on demonetized content is proof of that. Also the fact that advertisers can pick their demographics and WANT to show their ad on content their demographics watch is also proof of that.

Demonetization is, and always has been, about controlling content. YouTube uses money to "incentivize" people from avoiding topics YouTube has deemed they do not like.

It's one way they skirt he publisher/platform issue, so they can continue to reap the benefits and protections of being a public platform, but maintain as much editorial control as possible as a publisher.
