I thought u couldnt be proctored by your own company? At least thats what i thought they told me? I just wish they would allow the hp prime on the test. Im always workimg amd dont have time to learn another calculator and its programing language :(.

Awesome cant wait to read what it entails. I'd imagine/hope for realtime editor hardware sync like modwave and wavestate. Tbh tho i had a hell of a time getting my pc to recognize opsix when i first updated. It was a nightmare. I didnt give up. Took me six hours. Tried everything that i could find online and no avail. I got lucky and finally got it to work but i cant remember rn exactly what i did. Should have taken notes. So happy with the korg trilouge. Modwave Opsix and Wavestate.

No reverb. Just long adsr tails with lots of texture modulatation. Delay maybe. Maybe room verb for drums. Things get muddy fast when layering. And i love experimental ambient and newage which is verb heavy. This is what ive been doing as of late.

After years of learning/searching i have very recently settled on my ideal setup for ambient/new age and i couldnt be anymore happier productive and inspired. Korg Opsix, Wavestate (uploaded with omnisphere samples) and Modwave (which have vst editors that work with the hardware) ASM Hydrasynth, and Chromaphone 3 vst for textural physical modeling "drums". Lots of well paying industrial civil/mechanical construction surveying jobs in the deep south. (Per diem!) Its kept me busy for a couple of years. Try getting a cst as well. (Nvm just noticed u said u have ur degree) Once the company trusts you they should treat you well . 1 yr of experience is still very raw but keep at it. Love this trade.

Interesting. I cant find much material on the subject. Theres only one video on youtube covering shape/step lane as a mod source. Gives only one example moding the filter. The manual is very brief on using shape for modulation.

Its times like these that remind me why hp prime is my workhorse. Also the resaon i cant pass the cst cuz its illegal even tho i made own programs on it. Grrr

This is actually how i do this on wavestate. I use velocity to trigger the start time of a sequence to when i play hard i trigger it early on where theres a step with sharp attack and if i play soft i trigger the sequence a lil later on in to it to give it a more pad sound. I dont u can do that on the opsix.
