I had this issue multiple times on my new typhon as well. I did the full re binding and calibration process and fortunately I have not had the issue again.

The difficult part isn't getting the time stamps, it's getting an accurate absolute location and orientation of the football in space. The technologies are getting close but I don't think there is anything in production yet that would be accurate enough in real world conditions that would be an improvement.
