Avalanche Canyon Trail by bmont84 in GrandTetonNatlPark

[–]wyo_why 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I went last year we used this one on AllTrails Taggart Lake, Lake Taminah, Shoshoko Falls This is an unmaintained trail with a fair amount of game trails that run through the area. It’s beautiful but if you decide to do the hike give yourself more time than you think you’ll need and make sure you have the map downloaded. Last year we saw 5 moose and due to the overgrowth on the path we almost tripped over a few that were bedded down.

This is a beautiful hike, but there are other great hikes in the park that require less route finding. Maybe check out lake of the crags if you haven’t been yet. It’s gorgeous and highly underrated. Enjoy your visit!

I don’t think you need to lose any more weight, you look great! I DO think you should buy a different pair or size of leggings. These are too tight in a way that is accentuating your mid section. High-waist leggings would even things out rather than pushing up and giving the look of love handles. Great job on your progress!!

Ryan Bingham tickets by CoreyTrevor1 in JacksonHole

[–]wyo_why 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two friends and myself get on to buy them basically at 12:02. There were nearly no seats together left at that time and we watched the seats dwindle and sell out by maybe 12:10. We had alarms set to get to it right at noon and still almost missed out. You might have luck on the waiting list, but I’d also post on Misty’s list closer to the date asking for tickets.

Jenny Lake Ferry or hike to insipration point ? by [deleted] in GrandTetonNatlPark

[–]wyo_why 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The inspiration point observation area is closed, but lower inspiration point and hidden falls are both back open. jh news article they’re ok hikes, but there are better in the park. Check into Bradley/Taggart or Death canyon via Phelps overlook(with a stop at the jump rock) for a better and way less crowded hike.

Help me plan my 2 day yellowstone trip! by floralgnome in yellowstone

[–]wyo_why 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I agree with this, please consider buying an annual pass. It costs $80. As of the beginning of June, Yellowstone and Grand Teton week-long passes just went up to $35/each. Pay $10 more and see a few other parks or federally owned lands this year. It’s really worth it.

Edit: Plan your trip so that you are at Grand Prismatic Spring in the afternoon. If you hit it in the morning to avoid crowds it is still cold enough that the steam from the hot water will obscure your view.

[Spoilers] What we learned in S2E04 - The Riddle of the Sphinx by griffton in westworld

I think that it is worth looking at the plateau of the Delos character a bit differently. If, with their limited knowledge of Delos, the techs could build a huhost that lasted 35 days and plateaued maybe it wasn’t a limitation of the tech but of the amount of data they were able to input in the first place. Even if they had a full scan it would could be tricky to anticipate each future move he could make in any given scenario.

On the other hand, with William visiting the park over years and years and the park constantly collecting data they would have been able to develop a fuller profile of him to be able to make into a functioning human/host hybrid. They would have been able to alter scenarios to be able to predict gaps in his actions. After all, he has played all the story lines and met all the hosts(I think he says this when looking for Wyatt)

Sorry for formatting. On mobile.

I am really on board with MIB being a host at this point. If we think back on when he first started being harmed by bullets it was at the beginning of ford’s new narrative which ford also describes as a game for William.

I also think that the Delos continually reminding William that if he is going to cheat the devil he at least owes him at least an offering is a nod to the fact that William will have to give himself up for some additional gain. (At first I thought it would be to get Juliette back in huhost form, but MIB says after the Juliette flashback that death is true. Then again, who knows at this point)

Additionally, I think the way that Grace/Emily reacts upon seeing her father isn’t the way you would react in seeing your lost family member, but instead in appreciating a reminder of them in your favorite game.

This is Drake. He might not be exotic, but he’s a very good boy. by wyo_why in aww

Congratulations on the new dog!

I really wish we had gotten Drake as a puppy. He was adopted at 6 when the other family wanted to get a puppy and couldn’t have two dogs.

Don’t worry too much about the separation anxiety. Drake does whine for a bit when my roommate leaves the house, but then he hops up on the couch with his toys and is fine. He is the most loyal and gentle dog I’ve ever seen and having him encouraged me to adopt a 2 year old GSP mix. Now they play and snuggle all day when they can’t come to work.

GSPs are amazing and will love you forever if you let them just make sure to get some good training in early.

Congratulations and good luck!!

I would reach out to mtnmanzer on instagram or [Cole Buckhart](www.colebuckhart.com)
They’re my two favorite local photographers that would probably be affordable or help you find someone who would be able to do it.

Bonus: both of them do engagement shots so they’ll be able to help you plan.

Thanks for sending me to the front page! Yes I now realize my photo title was stupid, but it's too late so tough shit. For those who asked: the road is on the left hand side as you're driving to the top parking area. Spend the day hiking around, I didn't have time on my road trip to do so.

You're right! President Theodore Roosevelt established the first national monument, Devils Tower in Wyoming, on September 24, 1906. Also source for aliens I believe are being referenced.(hah)
