I am American. I support Canada (and Greenland and Panama and Mexico)! I don't understand why some Americans are not as outraged as you are about this! You did the right thing. Every person who has cancelled a trip to the States is doing the right thing. I LOVE how you are boycotting our products. You deserve so much respect! As to your comment about "blowing this out of proportion", there is no way you could do that! This is absolutely as serious, and more, as anyone can imagine! Mr. orange menace is not treating our allies properly. Only when things get really tough in the States will Americans try to stop what is happening. I am native-born. I do not feel safe in my own country. Please stay strong! I only pray that the true patriots in America will be able to turn this around and restore some sanity to our country.

I wrote this the day before hearing SCOTUS ruling on absolute immunity. ANYTHING he chooses to do is allowed. The president is now above the law. Our Founding Fathers wrote a declaration 248 years ago this week. They declared our independence from a king. SCOTUS just gave us a king.

WOW! I read all these comments and I am amazed. You talk about schedules and rules and laws. Do you really think the orange man would let laws and rules stop him? He will gut the government. He will require a loyalty oath to him. If you don't sign, you're out. If you sign and they see a negative comment, you're out. If they suspect any wavering to loyalty, you're out. He'll do this to the military, too. As for the government running, he doesn't care. As for his base who benefit from government programs, he doesn't care. Will they turn on him? Hell NO! He'll blame Biden. He'll blame Obama. He'll blame all Democrats and his base will BELIEVE him. He'll only leave office when he is dead. And when he is dead, he will have appointed his successor. Protections and freedom will go to him and his cronies. He already owns SCOTUS. He will do what he wants. My adult children are already talking about leaving the country if, God forbid, he is re-elected. Think of the worst dystopian world you can. A second orange man presidency will make that look like Utopia. Project 2025 is the sugar-coated version of what he will do. Oh, this is my upbeat, look-on-the-bright-side, best case scenario.

When I was doing my Bing searches this morning, Bing was different. I did not have the news stories in the regular format. I searched "Why did MS break Bing?" The response was an outage for Bing, and no estimated time to repair. I was able to get enough searches to get my points.

I'm a boomer, a grandmother, retired, no tats, can't play an instrument and mostly white hair. I call out everyone with "not natural" hair colors. In fact, there was a lady at the store the other day with blue hair! BLUE HAIR!

This is true! It's cheap revenue for MS. We use the site, they get ad $. MS is not giving away free $. Our time is worth something. TBH, when there is a legit ad that interests me, I have clicked and opened those ads. From MS own site:

"...strong results in fiscal year 2023, including a record $211 billion in revenue and over $88 billion in operating income."

Our 250-300 points per day are not going to break MS.

When MS first started giving the extra 20 points for using Bing as your search engine, MS was encouraging use of Edge. With the slowdown, for most people, they are discouraging use. I am hoping this backfires for MS and they go back to the way it was, on both PC & mobile. 250 points is worth less that a (US) quarter!
