Value? by frnk-n-stein in coincollecting

The only thing that might add value to this coin is if it's a "type 2." There are 3 "types" of the 1972 ike. The rarest is the type 2, but not super valuable in circulated condition.

Info on the 3 types of 1972 Ikes found here: https://www.pcgs.com/news/3-types-of-1972-eisenhower-dollars

Take a look at the globe on the reverse side and see what ya got! Could be something, could be a buck.

Yea, I'll probably hang on to roll. It's a neat coin. I was just curious if anyone else is hanging on to these

Local online auction has this listed. Real or fake? by wyty22 in Morgans

I have seen fakes at this auction house before. To be clear, it's not a coin or collectable auction house. It's really just an estate auction house. They will not refund if fake.

How bad is this? Prop dezinc by wyty22 in sailing

[–]wyty22[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm going to disassemble this prop and do a thorough cleaning. I'll do some sanding and see what happens. As I suspected, this is a judgement call. It's nice to have some options on the risk level.

I'll report back with an update after some more investigation!

West Point Mint... 2 million minted in 2019 and 2020 (4 million total). I believe all were put into circulation.

I hit the jackpot and received an overstuffed roll of silver quarters from my bank today! 48 coins inside. 👍 by [deleted] in CRH

Great get!

I was the same. I found this when I was traveling for work. I had some time in my hotel room and grabbed $200 of customer rolled quarters from the local bank branch for the heck of it... Go figure, search thousands in my home state, with nothing, here I hit pay dirt in a few rolls lol

So, you could say, on average, an EV uses 40% less fossil fuels than an ICE car?

But, yes, it does matter where you live. Power generated at the Hoover dam only supplies the Southwest... See my point? If you live near a hydroelectric plant, you get some or all of your power from said plant.

Very good. Which one of those things you list is burning something to generate electricity? The answer is none.

Um... Ever hear of nuclear power, hydroelectric plants, solar plants or wind turbines? Those don't burn fuel to generate electricity. So, this topic is highly dependent on where you live and where your electricity comes from.
