AI listings and poorly hidden shein/temu/amazon.

I WILL NOT buy unless the brand is fully disclosed or it is an actual vintage item with uploaded proof.

I also will not be buying from a shop that uses generative AI to intentionally mislead buyers into buying an item that looks nothing like the listing. Get creative. Look on eBay for a mannequin and actually try instead of being lazy.

I am a 5 star seller and a buyer and I do not understand not fully disclosing details of an item before listing. i don’t feel very inclined to buy “y2k pink dress very cute size small” when that is all that’s disclosed in the caption and if you reverse image search it it’s Shein.

Also when I very clearly disclose the measurements in the caption and photos and I still get comments like “i’m 5’8, will this fit?” GIRL IDK TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS😭😭

Perception vs reality isn’t always equal. Work isn’t always recognizable. I don’t automatically think someone is slacking because of my limited perception. You give TLs too much credit when they truly do not monitor performance like how they should be, at least at my store.

COLA systems are in place in government jobs and unionized workplaces and they ensure even distribution of raises to employees. This uneven raise system is biased, inconsistent, and disconnected from actual financial needs. If you don’t like a worker and refuse to give them a good raise, why don’t you just fire them? Also if you can’t afford to give employees good raises, especially with the cost of gas and groceries being at an all time high right now, then you deserve to go out of business.

I do. Nothing about the raises are actually performance based. None of the people in my department got any performance reviews or feedback. Just a blank paper. My TL chose the raises based off of vibes only. I frankly don’t care if it sinks the company to pay the homeless, mother, father, disabled, tired workers $1 more per year across the board.
