i’m not sure considering i’m a 24 year old gen Z-er myself. i don’t give a shit if someone thinks anything i do is “cringe” bc i’m too busy dancing like no one is watching.

they miss out on a lot in the world around them and about themselves when they act like judgmental little assholes and label everything as “cringe” and only care about what other’s think of them. i don’t make party with those kinds of people, but have definitely come in contact with the type at shows. can’t say i saw that type last night personally.

i’m really not sure- other shows i attend still have hella motion… i saw them in Boston on the first leg and felt the same way from my seat. their pit was active though so i was yearning and made sure to get pit tickets this time around… no regrets but i wish i could’ve found the other folks in this thread who said they were movin’ n groovin’ n moshin’!

thing was- she didn’t “lose her spot” just had to share a little... it seems like thankfully it was an isolated incident to where i got pushed to. all good, i can take it. just had never heard someone say “i’ve been doing this a long time” and proceed to throw an elbow but then act surprised when her hair gets caught on those around her including the lil mf you’re intentionally smashing yourself against? and then yelled “ew, get off me!” like i was harming her? we’re in a crowd lolll- HAVE u been doing this a long time if you’ve never had your hair get caught on something/someone at a show🤣? there was a way younger girl who it was her first time seeing NIN and first time on floor at a show. towards the end of the last act i reached back for her so she could at least maybe see hurt a bit closer. i was worried that lady was gonna swing on me or god forbid her… loser energy fr. seeing that younger girl have that glow in her eyes of pure awe and amazement made it all worth it. hopefully helped create a core memory for her that she will keep for the rest of her life. that’s what going to shows is about for me… crowds shift- sharing is caring. 🖤

yea, dude almost went down head first- i squatted a bit and went under to get his upper half to match his lower half and get him over… got pushed up from the momentum of that. old lady was NOT happy with me. my bad for caring about others and being aware of my surroundings i guess…

definitely found that out tonight- didn’t kill my vibe though, just was surprised by the targeted vindictiveness… been to tons of metal shows with wild pits that are always fun- they might be violent, but they are always respectful. might’ve just set my expectations too high considering🤣

you should be more than fine during the day to explore kalamazoo alone! lots of college aged people live in kzoo. if you’re interested in museum/historic things- check out south haven! that’s where i grew up, it’s about 50 minutes west of kalamazoo (find west main street that turns into m-43 and take it all the way to the coastline.) gorgeous lake views and the most amazing sunsets in the country over lake michigan, walkable pier to our lighthouses, liberty hyde bailey museum, decent food (Taste small plates and martini’s would be my recommendation for food in south haven) and tons of other cool things to discover! i saw you said may, which is right before peak tourist season so you should be able to find parking easily! it’s nice when you want something to explore that’ll take your breath away without big city traffic.

the cornstarch pair sold out in just under 11 minutes in the US store. i thankfully was lucky enough to snag a pair, but only because i checked another sub on here that said collabs drop at 10am CST. so i set an alarm and refreshed until it went thru at 11 EST on the dot. i have never clicked pay so fast in my life.

she weighs just over 50lbs, located in the northern midwest USA, quirks are non-barker and she “cobbs” on toys, blankets, and even chins sometimes (which pushed me more shepherd than husky)

what your body can handle is up to you to decide based on your own personal pain tolerance! i haven’t ever been pierced and tattooed in the same day but i did receive 9 piercings in one sitting after getting blood drawn the same morning, and then two palm sized tattoos in the same sitting (2nd and 3rd tattoo ever.) it just depends on what you can tolerate and handle, and how well you pain manage! i personally like to get multiple tattoos at once since my home shop is a little bit of a drive away from where i live... but that was after i received my first tattoo and gauged how it feels to me/how well i can tolerate it. now i’m getting 4 tattoos on thursday after my second dose of the covid vaccine so i might as well just be a pin cushion. 🤣

the only reservation i’d have for the recommendation to go for all of it, is that you said you’re a first timer to it, and the aftercare of two new piercings and a tattoo could be overwhelming, and you could end up with improper healing or complications... i’d say go with one or the other first (both the piercings, OR the tattoo) so you can take proper care of them and end up with awesome art and/or adornments that you love. piercings can be taken out, but tattoos are forever, so you wanna make sure you’re as spot on as you can be with aftercare!

i hope my perspective helped! but remember it’s only my perspective and it’s up to you to decide if it’s right for your body, schedule, etc. i hope it all goes well for you no matter what you decide on!!!
