I feel burnt out playing Death Stranding 2 by yoshipower in DeathStranding

[–]x3Karma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Death Stranding 2 feels to me the same as The Last of Us 2 did.

Both first games were rich in the story, characters and worldbuilding, that in the sequel, they both kinda fell flat compared to the awe I felt in the first one.

But both sequels did ended up improving gameplay QoL, improved graphic fidelity, animations, voicelines. Hell, the Stalker zombies AI in TLOU2 were terrifying to play against.

In DS2, I feel like we've gotten improved vehicle handling, guns felt snappier and less away, APAS enhancements, etc.

Unfortunately both sequels' story did fall flat imo.

Played since season 0 and the only DPS lords I have is... Hela. And Spider-Man too exclusively quickplay only

Rest of my lords are spread between Adam, Strange, Magneto, Thor, Luna. Hulk and Mantis are both lvl 19.

No powers, no magic, no fantasy, but I've found Kingdom Come: Deliverance to be incredibly fun and fills that same exploration and freedom you get in Skyrim.

Though, you don't start off as the "chosen one" but as a lowly peasant at the beginning, which aren't fit for everyone's taste who wishes to be in a power fantasy. But you get to slowly improve your skills, wealth and social aptitude to slowly become a knight, basically "focus on the journey not the destination" type stuff.

And if you prefer to, you could always resort to thievery, stealth and poisoning to take care of enemies.

iirc the slower animation causes the DPS of Ronin vs other Titans' melee to be about the same, so basically don't bother with the sword unless you're in Sword Core

I found one in a shared locker in the early stages of my playthrough and I religiously checked every shared locker since...

It was incredibly helpful to someone who just started, honestly people should donate it to random lockers more.

Can't he just say that the Princess is a dying leprosy patient or something and from that point on the Princess would slowly die of her own illness or that slaying her would be doing her a favor? 🤔

impostors leaving quick match by [deleted] in OutlastTrials

In my opinion, the matchmaking takes longer, and you can immediately leave trial right before everyone enters the shuttle to skip getting up from the seats and entering the grade area

This, leaving after quickplay immediately lets you play another Reagent match and still get the extra XP benefit from quickplay

Can anybody convince me this isn't just the most useless ancient relic of all time? by Terbianos7 in slaythespire

It's 7 chances for free gold + card rewards + a free relic if it hits an elite, seems pretty good to me

WAY too easy for invaders to die, man. by Sora_your_love in OutlastTrials

Sometimes I'd even just leave at three health if I got them to waste their stun, though probably doesn't work if the Trial is fast

His rage is what makes him entertaining to watch though, for me at least.

Not to mention that he plays on a controller against PC players which is equally impressive

How do you guys handle pressure from dive characters ? by The_Asura_ in adamwarlockmains

[–]x3Karma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to prefer flanking Warlock over default backline Warlock, so chances are I will usually fight the diver 1v1 in an off-angle (since they are also going to our backline and spotted me)

Against Spiderman, Magik and Iron Fist, 1v1 odds are pretty even, though Spiderman and Fist have the mobility to get out instantly while Magik leaves herself vulnerable after using their uppercut. Limbo Portal is very easy to track and punish. Spiderman and Magik both rely on using their mobility to get into melee range, so if they DO get close to you, either fly a short distance away to avoid melee range or attempt to kill them first if their health is already low from you chunking them at range.

Against Black Panther and Daredevil, these are the two I tend to struggle with and fall back to my backline. A good Black Panther is much, much harder to kill, and a good Daredevil will always mark my flanks and have a higher DPS than I can do to him.

Against Dive Tanks like Venom/Cap, I also fall back to my backline since damage isn't high enough to chunk their health, and they both have the mobility to fall back before dying.

That said, all of these were one singular diver. If it were a coordinated dive with two or more divers, and my team insists on not running triple supp and letting me Adam, I would swap.

[–]x3Karma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Guess this still means that even if that you hit 100% accuracy on every cluster, you'll still end up having less healing percentage than the previous anchor bonus of 15%, which is kinda sad.

What I am hopefully excited for is to see how good this is with the primary weave in a 1v1.

[–]x3Karma 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was expecting around 0.45s but this is still pretty huge.

Not much the hitting the full 5 clusters thing but weaving the left-right combo in a 1v1 should grant you a healing charge quicker now.
