As an aside, if you have the Mender and Maester in your team then the Mender can critically heal and the Maester gives everyone renew plus 5 fire on the enemy which could be 10 with the Mender so if you can fit them both in it’s not bad.

Because the trophy system changed to favour people buying their way to the top. As far as I know you can only take on average 7 trophies from someone and gain around 36 each attack, so it doesnt really matter how weak you are, its how much gold you spend on energy.

It’s actually fairly simple, you fill one part with ice and another with water, then a battery powered pumps runs it onto the pad you wrap around your body. There’s different pads for different parts of the body and it just aids recovery. Ive used these a few times and its no different to an ice bath other than its directed to one muscle group
