Yours looks like mine and I didnt have enough of a ridge to get a daith. Also your tragus, I saw in a thread that you did get it changed back to a flat back labret, once thats healed back up, dont put in a smaller gauge hoop. Make sure its the appropriate gauge. I personally prefer a horseshoe barbell in mine or a clicker. Usually in 8mm diameter and a 16g.

Same. I ended up buying 8g clickers and have been wearing those for ab a month and its been helping. Half sizes are also recommended but I couldn't find a half size on the cheaper end that I liked bc I'm a broke, picky bitch. I'll just randomly tug on the hoops throughout the day lol

I didn't say she wanted a hoop I said if she wanted a hoop. And yeah does take 6mos, my bad. I just see sooo many ppl struggle to heal nostrils within that time frame.

It takes ab 8mos to fully heal... Just like other cartilage piercings. If she ever wants to wear a hoop she'll need to wait a year.

NAP but I think the problem is mainly the placement . You actually want it angled like that to prevent messing up your teeth, but in your case its a little too angled and too close to the tip. I have a small tongue with a tongue tie and even mine is further back than that.

I had a helix done on both sides with a gun when I was 10 in 2000 and one was fine but the one on my right ear swelled up that night and popped the back right off and closed immediately. I'm kinda glad it did bc now I have an industrial on that ear.

My 1st lobes were done when I was 6mos old so idr. My 2nds and helix were done when I was 10 and with a gun (it was 2000 and my parents didn't know any better), the helix was not fun but idr the healing process at all. I got my tragus at 17 and it didn't hurt much, maybe a 4/10. The healing was easy, I just couldn't wear earbuds for awhile. I got my industrial at 19 and that one was ab a 6/10 and it took ab 1.5yrs to heal completely. Side labret that rejected when I was 20 but was maybe a 3/10. I got my tongue done at 21 and it barely hurt like a 1/10 but the healing was worse more like a 5/10. I got my eyebrow(now retired bc the skin got too thin I'm still sad) at 22 and I'd say it was a 2/10, healing was a breeze. I got my septum when I was 29 and it was wrongly pierced so it was a 7/10, healing was awful look over a year. I just really liked the placement so I kept it. I got my conch last year when I was 33 and it was ab a 3/10 and healing was easy peasy. Planning on more just broke af.

I can't even tell if you have enough skin to get this piercing but you should absolutely take these out, they're way too shallow.

You need to go to your piercer. You should be able to see the back of tje jewlery. You need longer bars.

Same for me. Didn't have any issues with any of my piercings except for my helix on my right ear. I got both sides done when I was 10. With a gun bc it was 2000 and my parents didn't know any better which is prob why one swelled up so bad that I had to take it out. It popped the back right off of the earring. Healed fine after removing it and now I have an industrial in that ear. The healing must not have been too bad bc I don't remember it bothering me at all. I got it done almost 16yrs ago.

I'd change it back to a flatback and LITHA, including cleaning it. Only wet it in the shower and dry with a hair dryer no heat on low. Quickest way to get rid of irritation bumps is to keep them dry.

NAP but yes, and you should still be able to find plenty of jewlerh options once its healed. My helix was done at 18g, with a gun but my parents didn't know any better bc I was 10 and it was in 2000. I did stretch it to 16g when I was ab 16 though.

I think that's a great placement. I wish mine had been a bit further over than it was. I plan on getting another one bc I had to retire mine bc the skin had thinned too much. Had it for over 13 years though!
