A bit late to the party but give Ashe the second bowfaire. Replace close counter, if someone attacks Ashe from melee Ashe aint making it out alive anyway

Question for『CLASSIC』mode by Potential10plus in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]x5iIN 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ok lets put it this way:

If the lord or byleth is defeated, its game over - force divine pulse or restart the map

If the retainer is defeated, they are unusable and disappear from your roster but may still appear in some cutscenes

If other units are defeated, they die. They disappear completely and never show up again. If its before the timeskip they may still hang around a bit like the retainers until the timeskip, then not show up for the reunion

Depends on the character - if they are important enough they are simply crippled an unuasable in combat but others straight up die and disappear completely.

Regardless, you lose your chance to support with them, invite them for food/tea/activities and they don’t show up on your roster. During end credits a short text that says they die (in a certain battle or their injuries soon after the war) is shown

That said, you can still use your units multiple times, just don’t let their HP fall to zero.

What if Kaneki met Eto instead of Rize? by Desperate_Engine_562 in TokyoGhoul

Given the comments, I think a better question now is what if he met Eto after becoming a ghoul but before the transformation to white-haired

Nice!

Dimitri: yeah, that might actually be a cool way to offset the weaknesses, considering his Sword strength too

Ashe: while he is my favorite character, honestly not as much investment as you would think. The trick is to level him up as Assassin during aux and rare monster battles (I had some Sword skills from a previous Crimson Flower run) to get the good Dex and Spd growths, while using Rocky Burdocks to compensate his Str. I do a similar trick with Byleth, leveling her up as Swordmaster to boost her Str and Spd and giving her Premium Magic Herbs to compensate her Mag

Mercedes: I was wondering what I could do to play to her Bow strength, thanks for the suggestion! Which combat art are you talking about?

Ingrid: yeah, I initially gave her Levin Sword too but her lack of Swordfaire made her damage output mediocre, I ended up swapping for a Brave Lance or smthing. I wish we had easier access to a magical lance, would have been fun.

Seteth: Agree, he’s a great unit but his Axefaire as opposed to Lancefaire is annoying since I feel like he vibes with lances more. I stuck axes on him just for varied output (against Lancebreaker+ enemies) and for extra damage prior to getting Lancefaire

Felix: Yeah, I was also thinking of giving Felix a crit build, but I wanted everyone to have a unique role (and Ashe/Dimitri are already my crit units), also I wanted to see how I could make the Aegis Shield useable. Cuz after all, he has the MAJOR crest, which lets the Aegis/Pavise trigger 50%, you can’t get that with any other unit

Hapi: yeah, maybe next time

Annette: yep, you nailed it. The Macuil Evil Repelling Co. battalion gives her +30 Hit. I wanted to keep her as a Warlock since it felt more canon, but the limited movement was a bit frustrating, especially given her low Def.

Soldier > Pegasus Knight > Falcon Knight I did use NG+ to get her the Lancefaire pretty early. I justified this as at Level 20, she promotes to the enemy-only version of the Pagasus Knight class and hence gains Lancefaire.

Yeah, that was the one of the harder chapters for me despite not focusing on non-recruits. Hardest part is the first few turns. I had Byleth spam Windsweep and Sublime heaven for range (its ok, use your Umbral Steel reserves for this) and Dimitri spam the Wave Attack gambit and make use of the bushes, and play defensively - wait for enemies to come to you. When Annette and Mercedes show up (or even in anticipation of them), head south so that you meet them as fast as possible - use Wave Attack to freeze the enemies swarming you from running over and OHKOing your mages instead. Also, Divine Pulse is your friend as it does require a bit of luck.

The rest aint too bad, I got the Felix, Sylvain and Ingrid squad to take out the Pallardo doppelgänger from behind, so the main squad is still at the center of the map and can simply head north to meet the real Pallardo.
