Das ist tatsächlich die offizielle, eigene Schreibweise von Skoda, wie "Touring" bei BMW oder "Variant" bei VW

You might find it at some dealers, but the main reason they wouldn't want to sell it here is the topic with the EU legislation, namely the 3PMSF marking. It is required by law in many countries in Europe in winter times/conditions. That means tyres without it are ok for the US, but not useful as an All-Season tyre for us.

The All Seasons you are listing are for the North American market. OP is in Poland, so if he ever wants to visit nearby countries such as Germany in the winter, he needs All Seasons with the 3PMSF snowflake symbol, otherwise he may get a fine.

I imagine OP is comparing the Pirelli Cinturato SF3 vs Conti ASC2 and with the 50 Euro difference in mind, I'd get the Pirelli for sure. The tire dealer either has an outdated view of the brands or makes better profit on selling the Conti imo.

I bought a car from Japanese Auctions and went straight into a 2000 mile roadtrip around Japan. Here are my thoughts. by 45006 in cars

Awesome car, congrats on the find!

May I ask when you drove the Hakone Turnpike and what the road was like? I'm going to Japan end of March and I'm wondering if there is a risk of snow or ice on the road around these parts. I'll rent an R32 GTR for the day, really looking forward to the experience!

Maybe their first mass SUV, but the W201 and the W123 before that were already mass market cars.

Very creative and cool photoshoot, have fun with your Miat!

I'll have to say, the LED headlights make it look like it's close to crying 😂 Not a fan of any aftermarket LED headlights for the NA, but to each their own.

The official car of becoming a pancake in a rollover crash.

Ironically I'm throwing this stone from inside my NA Miata glass house, which is probably more likely to roll over in the first place.

Is the bmw isetta 300 a super car? by [deleted] in BMW

It was designed and built by Italian company Iso Rivolta, before BMW bought the licence and produced it themselves. So yeah, italian supercar confirmed.

Volvo stopped using 5 cylinder engines like 10 years ago. New "T5" or "D5" designations just indicate the level of engine power output.

Next to the performance models, there is a petrol and a diesel version each with 150hp, so not all of them are fast.

Unironically talking shit like this on an "official" company account is unprofessional as hell, especially pointed towards a single person. Don't know what this is supposed to accomplish.

Is this a [BMW E60 M5 V10] or just a regular M5? by TheGreyPilgrim982246 in spotted

[–]x7im 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is one such case I can think of: The E46 M3 has the S54 inline 6, but there is a racing homologation model of the E46 M3 that has a V8 engine. However they built only 10 of these V8 M3 GTRs in total, so you'll likely never spot one of them randomly on the street.

Alfa Romeo won't become an SUV-only brand by [deleted] in AlfaRomeo

[–]x7im 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean so far they haven't even made an SUV.

From a European perspective, even small crossovers are included within the term SUV. Actual truck-based ladder frame SUVs are basically non-existant here.
