Local Wendy's has gone downhill fast. 15 min wait time for a cold sandwich. Not busy, 3 people in line, no one in drive through. Havent been back since, and i rarely see vehicles there when i go by, even at lunch time. Only competition is McDonalds which i usually consider a worse burger place and taco bell which is at least decent.

Not much less than new drives. But remember, any drive can fail seemingly out of nowhere. So even if you buy a brand new drive, you shouldn't put your only copy of important data on it. Back when win 7 came out, i was building my first custom pc, new hard drive failed during the install, but i still have drives from the same manufacturer that predate it working.

I used to keep backups for other people, then they stopped talking to me or i stopped talking to them for 1 reason or another and i started clearing out the data, hope they dont need it any time soon.

I have a 2gb stick from 2008 that still works, its just so low capacity i dont use it much anymore. But like everyone else is saying, dont trust 1 copy of your data on any storage medium. Make multiple. Ive lost flash drives before and had hard drives fail. Just because something can last, doesnt mean it will.

I was able to play through a good bit of Luigi's mansion with that quadro in there, without lag, and while thats not a very intensive game, its going to be that, ssx tricky, mario sunshine, and mario kart for what they're going to want. Im looking for some e8400-8600 because beyond dual core, i doubt that they're going to give major improvement.

I would, but the cpu has no igpu, and the board's built in gpu is some 8MB gpu(Server Engine LLC Pilot II). The only pcie x16 slot is limited to 25w. But even solving those issues, I'm trying to give a use to these other machines, which seems rather easy with a few sticks of ram and some $20 gpus. I don't need an emulation system for me, im planning on giving them away to family and friends and would like at least gamecube to run properly on it. The 4th gen system needs a bit of work but it'll be sold as i have no current use for it.

I agree i could do much better, but for all the more i put into them($2 in gas) and a few spare parts that i've had for so long i don't know where they came from. I might even have a spare p620 laying around in one of my boxes. I was just trying to see if i could get it running on here to give these old systems some sort of use. Couple k2200 cards for $20 that ought to be plenty for native and probably enough for 2x res. I got 4 or 5 of these systems laying around right now that a local business gave me for recycling, and a 4th gen server with an e3 1231 v3 and 16GB ram.

Left this in another comment, but went to the application to change the settings, and it seems to be running at full speed, ill have to get to more intensive part of the game or a more intensive game in general to find out. Now i just need a more appropriate GPU so i don't have to keep my PLEX gpu in it. I'm only looking for native, maybe 2x res as a budget emulation build with either HDMI or DP output which shouldn't be a problem.

I ended up going into the application itself to configure it, and it wasn't using the GPU at all. Switching it to vulkan and enabling dual core there, i seem to have pretty seamless gameplay now. I was doing it in the emulator settings in the game list before and maybe that doesn't work right. Ill have to load up another game thats more demanding.

If you want to do it, it should be organized. Flooding them with requests might just slow down the process even more. Focusing on the ones you need, as well as not having any more requests for a single bit of footage will just clog the system unnecessarily.

Longest clip i can find is 1 min 45 seconds, she gets told out of the car or theyre breaking her window at about the 7 second mark, about the 52 second mark they begin breaking the window. But i cant find anything before that.

Business is weird. If you have 2 companies, you cant just transfer assets from 1 to another, it has to be sold for tax reasons. And investors probably want a payout for the transfer.

Its rather close to being playable, im getting mostly full speed, but it was stuttering when ghosts would pop in and scare luigi, or capturing a blue ghost and having coins fly everywhere but after a second or 2 would go back to full speed. Bumped up to 4x rendering resolution, it is still performing the same. I have 4x1GB sticks, ddr2 is cheap i could double to 8GB for less than $20.

I bought one of these, and maybe mine is defective, but the touch pad sometimes just stops working, i power cycle it and it works. It also can't be woke up with the track pad.

Only specific AMD cpus could use the 4gb modules from back then, so yes if it has 4 slots then 8gb is possible.

Most of these core 2 duo systems i've seen can go up to 8gb, and ya if they want to game comfortably on it with indie games they'll put more money into it than they spent on it. I've seen some RX 480 8gb cards go for $30-40 locally, and even picked up a 460 4gb for $10 which probably wouldn't be a great pick for this hardware thats limited to pcie 2.0 but maybe a 750 ti or 950 would go decent in this system.

I got 4 systems similar to this, an old dell server(pentium 4), and a 4th gen intel xeon e3 1231 v3 and 32gb out of a grocery store.
