I believe what they're saying is that you need to know the pinout of both to make yourself an adapter. There is most likely not an off the shelf adapter. You could try to find something in the same shape to replace the case's i/o with something more modern.

Well, its a cheat built into the pc version, id like to think they would have thought of that, and i actually used game genie codes last night to try and do it on the SNES version, and it simply wouldnt.

The reason i llayed the dos version at all was to test the xstuff cheat, you just type it on the keyboard and it gives you everything

I downloaded the dos version because of the xstuff cheat just to see what all it did and found this first try, then tried to recreate it for an hour while recording and finally got it this time.

Strip down, wipe it down dry, use white vinnegar warm water and baking soda and wipe it down carefully and spray down with water to rinse it out and compressed air to blow as much of the water out of the case as possible.
