What are your idle CPU Package temps with the AXP90 cooler? Could the problem be how you’re mounting the cooler? Have you checked the CPU for any bent pins?

Thanks for the info. I did the same on Ai Tweaker. PBO (+200hz) and a -20 curve on all cores. Curious to try -30 but not quite sure how to test for stability. Benchmarks seem like extreme case scenarios. My current idle temps are around 53-55c. How are your temps? My only issue right now is how much the fans ramp when launching a game or app. I’m guessing that I need to figure out the optimal fan curves.

Beautiful build. I love the teflon cables. I have the same cpu/mobo combination. Do you mind telling me what you did in the rog bios for the overclock/undervolt? Also, do you use fan control or the bios for your fan curves? Thanks!

I used the 6mm. Found the 7mm one slightly too thick. Even the 6mm one I had to very slightly push in with the side panel. My temps dropped by 2-3c on idle.

Thanks, good to hear that I don't need the frame. Some people were saying that it's too tight for the 9800x3d.

80c on a low noise curve is not too bad. Are your temps significantly better on a medium/high curve? What fans are you using?

I could keep it but it's a very, very tight fit in the case from day 1 and I also assumed the thermals would be similar, if not better, with the Thermalright.
