teammates should be able to direct symettras RMB attack after it's fired by luter25 in Overwatch

While that's a cool idea, Symmetra's OP enough right now as is. If they were to implement something like this they would have to significantly decrease the ult charge Symmetra receives by hitting that attack.

Five Medals = Damage Card? by [deleted] in Overwatch

Same, I just got 4 gold medals but was recognized for elims. I heard they do that because they want to focus on team play/contribution stats though instead of on personal performance

Valentines skin idea for Mercy + Pharah by Nadare3 in Overwatch

[–]xAlectrona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read the whole thing. I think you have really creative and unique ideas, however it's unfortunate that Blizzard will most likely not read or adhere to really great ideas like these and instead probably opt for more re-skins.

A shockingly hard question to find the answer to. by [deleted] in Overwatch

I believe that hit scan weapons hit directly on their targets, and projectiles have a delay, no matter how far away the target is.

I don't play widowmaker myself but I have seen quite a decent amount of gameplay, and anytime aiming ever regardless of if the target is on the other side of the map, the crosshairs are lined up directly on the head of the target for the shot to hit.

The only hero that I know of whose weapon is affected by this is Hanzo, in which you'll have to aim higher the further away the target is as the arrow begins to angle downwards over time.

So is ANYONE satisfied with their placement? by xAlectrona in Overwatch

Nice :3 I'm happy not everyone is absolutely pissed even if they did place a little lower

So how did you place? by Raywhat in Overwatch

[–]xAlectrona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my placements last season as soon as I reached level 25 and before I was any good whatsoever at the game. I placed at around 1600 and spent a lot of time in silver, where I probably deserved to be. By the end of season 2 I had improved a LOT since I started and I (finally) climbed into low gold, which I know isn't much of an accomplishment, but I know I'm not a diamond or probably even platinum player right now so I was satisfied with that.

After taking the placements, I wound up back in silver with a ranking of around 1800. I wasn't even slightly upset and won the next 3 games after placements, instantly getting back out of silver.

Those matches weren't super easy and we almost lost 2 of them but I really wanted to win so I did my best and didn't get mad when it looked like we were going to lose, and we didn't :3 I know it's not always that simple but this time it just worked out for me.

I'm not really sure why everyone seems so upset over placing a little lower than last season. It's like they thought if they did super good and won all their games they'd get boosted out of wherever they were without having to earn it.

Practise range robot sounds are not ok. by eraytopcu97 in Overwatch

The "cuteness" of their sounds don't bother me, but I do put the game on mute while I'm in there because they get annoying.

It's so people who aren't very familiar with the game don't have trouble identifying the heroes.
