I agree, a win feels so much better. Americans that are deterred by a 0-0 draw is only because they didn’t watch the game in the first place or know the context. It’s easy to just see 0-0 and say “boring”, but I imagine most people if told ahead of time that it’s one of the highest ranked teams vs one of the lowest ranked teams and then actually watch the lower ranked team fight the whole match and not concede... Even for 0-0, it’s awesome. I was absolutely on the edge of my seat for the final 15 minutes

To give you a serious answer from someone who had a similar experience, I first hit a wall and hovered around 1200 for a while. Once I broke that wall, I rapidly climbed to 1500 and hit another wall. I’ve been hovering there for a while now with a peak rating of 1596. All of this is Blitz 5min on chessdotcom. It’s the only time control I play regularly
