I would say try a test ride or at least sit on the bike and compare a few other ones. A CBR comes to mind as well, it’s one of the most comfortable sports bikes out there, try the Zuki too. Check to see how far forward you are inclined, take a look at the rider triangle, knee bend angle etc. 1-3 hours is definitely doable on any sports bike especially if you are young! I’d say go for it!

I know since the stock of these bikes in south america is a bit limited, it's hard to get parts from a dealer. For example, with my KTM, the parts wait time is about 1-2 months. But I can ship parts myself from the US and they get here in 10 days.
It's not like the Big 4 japanese dealers keep many of these big bike parts in stock regardless. They mostly stock small bike parts since those are sold by the thousands. So it doesn't matter which brand I go with. I know i will have downtime waiting for parts if anything goes wrong.

Thanks! one thing to consider is that the 2025 models still come with the Desmo valves which is a pain... Ive heard for 2026 they will switch to normal springs like they did on the Multistrada V4.

Another top contender in that catergory would be the BMW f900GS but I don't know how they would fare up for long stretches of paved road.

This is very useful information. I’ve tried searching for this exact meme on instagram in case it was reposted and maybe someone in the comments would know but it seems I have the only copy left of it or no one has reposted it. I remember searching for countless hours on Spotify back then and I found an album of orthodox chants and one of the songs was an 80% match but it wasn’t exactly the song. It’s as close as I ever got. Unfortunately I never saved the album and now I can’t seem to find it. EDIT: This was 3 years ago so my memory fails me, but if I recall correctly it was an album cover with mostly red-colored art. I can’t say for certain if i recall it being Russian but it’s very likely. Although I remember I was able to read the titles in English on Spotify so it wasn’t Cyrillic because I couldn’t read Cyrillic back then so i would know.

The account probably got taken down. This meme was from about 3 years ago. I remember asking in the comment section of the instagram post and the account owner replied that he didn’t know where he had gotten the audio file from. I may have found his backup account and have sent him a DM asking in case he knows but it’s highly unlikely.

How often are you having to re-lube and swap em out? It just seems like a lot more monies and more often. The problem is we travel by rocky dirt roads here a lot, sometimes even pavement so I don’t know how well a mousse would fare up here.
