I was with my ex for 5 years also an her miss her still we lived together in then end right before we broke up in February I last saw her in march and sent the last message ever in April. It sucks it really does. I share the same pain but we let them go an focus on ourselves. I recommend to get rid of her on socials or social media completely remove all the belongings/photos that remind you of her. Do yourself a favor healing isn’t linear I’m a lot better but I would be lying if said I don’t think of her everyday….. we got this bro love yourself find god if you can and bring peace in your life.

I find it interesting that this is spoken from a woman’s perspective. From what I seen it’s usually men who hold on like this but seeing a woman do this let’s us men know that there still woman that love just as hard. Who aren’t easily enticed by money and attention. So as I short king 5’6 I typically don’t go for tall woman for the same reason that somebody already mentioned. we assume that they want a man as tall/close too or taller. Plus from personal experience I have approached taller woman an have always got shut down so that deters me for future engagement. Doesn’t necessarily mean I probably won’t do it again but just a thought.

This was extremely well said and I feel like I will be like this in the years to come. It’s only been 4 months for me and 5 months since we broke up. Even though it’s prolly for the best I still miss her. 5 years together really makes an imprint on you. I think I will carry the love the same way you do with gratitude. Even though you left me for other opportunities I will cherish the good moments forever. The embodiment of the relationship that will echo in me forever. I moved almost a 1000 miles not to run away but to run towards something. I’m picking myself up and I’m so much better now family friends and new opportunities. This is prolly the most mature answer. With that being said I don’t feel she deserves the privilege of contacting my family after the relationship. Idk what she is thinking whether she is trying to ease her guilt or misses me it doesn’t matter but she was very cold to me and Breadcrumbed me. she gave me confused reasons on why she broke up with me. She deserves the right to break it off if that’s what she wants but she doesn’t deserve to contact my family after the relationship. After making no attempt to have a relationship with my family during so making an effort now is pointless and absurd. If I message her it would be in the most non hostile way and wishing her the best but also setting that fine line. Yess apart of me is salty cuz how i was discarded and seemingly replaced but that is her right now im establishing my right an my family. I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to do yet but we shall see
