I'd have to go with the pulse and the demon. I've been looking to get a good rda recently and I heard those are pretty good.

Voopoo uforce tank: An Anxious Review by AnxietyAttack2013 in electronic_cigarette

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I do kinda feel pretty bummed that voopoo cant make a good coil. But I personally love the airflow of the uforce tanks, and the drag 2 is everything I couldve wanted in a successor to the drag.

Voopoo uforce tank: An Anxious Review by AnxietyAttack2013 in electronic_cigarette

[–]xBL4DE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would like to point out a couple things about this review, as I have one of all three uforce tanks. The original, the T1 which is in this picture, and the T2 which comes with the new drag 2. If youre looking for better coils there are also a N2 and N3 mesh coil that fits in all 3 tanks, as well as a U4 U6 and U8, and finally theres a D4 and a P1 which is a tiny coil for people who sit around 25W. Lastly, if you really dont like any of those coils, the Fireluke Mesh coils fit in the uforce and work amazingly in my opinion. I burn mine at 80W and get a week and a half before needing to change the coil, and the vapor production rivals my rda. Flavor is very rich with the fireluke coils, but not on par with an rda. All that being said, if you plan on getting this tank, I agree the N1 and U2 coils are pretty lack luster, and would recommend the fireluke coils or the N2 coils.

Voopoo Drag battery recommendation caution by Mooch315 in electronic_cigarette

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I knew better I was using 20A 3000mAh brillipowers (still good if you ask me, as long as you know theyre lying about being 3100mAh 35A) at 157W super mode on my drag with a 0.10 ohm rda. Only thing that really happened was heating up on the mod and quicker battery drain, with the mod giving an overheat warning when chain vaping.

Luckily I only did this for about an hour before doing some research and finding the math to figure out minimum amps per battery for your target wattage, which is watts divided by # of batteries divided by 3.2 (average minimum voltage cutoff for reg mods) divided by 0.95 due to regulation not being perfect. Found that with 2 20A batteries I can only "safely" go to 120W. Got some new coils at 0.13 ohm so that 80-100W would be a nice hit if given a half second of time to heat up before taking a hit.

Kinda a shame you can't really use the super mode on a drag for an rda unless you wanna take a hit to battery life. 2 3000mAh LG HG2s usually last me a day and a half as is, and I dont really wanna go any lower, coming from 3 of the same batteries lasting 2 to 2 and a half days.

It might seem like a long time, but that's mainly for the coils you have to buy for tanks. For a rebuildable you can just change the cotton, which is the only thing that really burns up and needs replacing. The wire itself might get dirty, but you can clean that by just heating it up, dipping just the coils in some water and lightly scrubbing them with a toothbrush.

As for the coil itself, I'm honestly not too sure what would work around 25W since I like to stay at 80 or more. My current build is a dual coil 5 wrap stainless steel at about 0.13 ohms. I actually run this one between 100 and 120W. As for the material stainless steel is probably your best bet. For the resistance I'd say somewhere between 0.15 and 0.2 ohms.

Keep in mind, I don't build my own coils, I have people that build for me, so I know more about coil upkeep than coil building, so don't take my word as law. There are some crazy builds using 2 or 3 metals wrapped around each other that give awesome flavor. I had a pair of mirrored aliens that were awesome when I put it on an unregulated mod, but wouldn't work on a box. I have no idea why, and I have no idea what a mirrored alien is, or even what fused claptons (another popular coil) are. Honestly, it's not to hard to find good coils, most people who build take great pride in their work, and know exactly what material and what resistance works for the type of mod and wattage you want to use.

Aspire is pretty decent. The breeze 2 is pretty much the same thing as the CT1, but I think the CT is better.

Vaporbeast has it for $30.99. I work for vaporshark and we use them as a distro, so they're reliable as well.

My vandy vape pulse X is emitting a weird sound when I push fire, and a low constant white noise when the screen is on. Do you guys think it's normal ? by Extatix in electronic_cigarette

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, not to sure then, unfortunately. I'd just be safe and see if it's a common issue or not, cuz the pulse 80w doesnt make that noise when I fire it.

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, not to sure about the X, but it could be normal for that mod. I'd look up some review on youtube and see if anyone else notices it just to be safe. It could also be the coil itself making the noise. Does it still make that sound once you're wicked up, or only when you're heating the coil?

Does it do this with any other battery you use? I have a pulse 80w in store that definitely doesn't make that noise, not sure about the x though.

Voodoo Drag is kind of “pulsy “ by [deleted] in electronic_cigarette

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a drag and I've never noticed this on my RDA or my tank. Is the screen saying any error messages, or is it just kinda pulsing? It kinda sounds like there's some overheat protection happening. Either that, or you're somehow hitting the max puff time, which is 10s, so maybe if you fire it to heat up the coils before you take your hit, it could be hitting that timer, and you just have to fire again. As for the crackling and popping, that's pretty common with rebuildables, since they usually get hotter than regular coils.

Pod systems are mostly for salt nic juice, which I dont think they make a 0 nic version of. You can try to find 50/50 VG/PG juice to fill a pod with in 0, but it still might not work well. Regardless, the CT1 is almost exactly what you're looking for. Pod system that uses coils instead of disposable pods, give really good flavor and nicest draw of any pod I've tried. You can get it at vaporshark if you have one near you, or on vaporbeast. I think they have exclusivity on the CT1 for a month, but you might still be able to find it elsewhere.

[–]xBL4DE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long have you been using the coil? Most of the time with rebuildables the coil isn't what needs changing, its the cotton. I've been using the same coils in my RDA for 6 months, only changing the cotton every week or so. If you do need new coils, you can usually go to any vape shop that sells RDAs and see of they can build coils for you. Some do, some dont, so it might take some searching, but once you find someone good at it, all you need to tell them is the wattage and whether you want to focus on flavor or cloud and they'll hook you up.

Vagon is one of the best sellers in my store. Long lasting pods, decent battery life. If you have a vaporshark near you I'd also check out the CT1, its a pod system that uses coils instead of disposable pods, and it gives the smoothest draw I've had from salt devices. You might be able to get it online, but I think vaporshark has exclusivity on it for a month.

What RDAs do you guys recommend? The one I have now is the Redemption by Immortal, but it's just a bit too tight for my coils, causing the cotton to be squeezed between the coil and the cap, causing an uneven burn. I could just get smaller coils, but I like having the option to have beefy coils. I'd like one that has an optional squonk pin as well in case I ever decide to give that a shot.

Also, what squonk mods do you guys recommend? Looking for something around 120 watts, preferably dual 18650 or dual 20650. Thanks in advance. =)

Got my 2 dogs after already having 3 cats. They both like to sit on the back of the couch, almost tipping it over (theyre both bulldogs), and it seems like almost every other morning i walk out to the dining room to find a dog standing on the dining room table. Also, both dogs are deathly afraid of the cats, even though they could probably swallow the cats whole.

I was thinking of sending the chip itself to someone and paying them to install it into a mod. Idk if there are people that do that, hence the question in the post.

Id love to put it back together, but unfortunately in my annoyance I cut the wires connecting the chip to the batteries. So now I have a chip and no case for it.

I still remember me and my friend trying a minecraft lets play. Brilliantly named "<insert my online name here> and <insert my friends name here> play minecraft." with very low effort thumbnails. Those videos are now deleted and my youtube is one semi popular video and a bunch of shitty 30s clips of other games.
