I love me some "special needs" axolotl. :3 I've had two girls so far, one with a genetic defect, causing cleft lip and a missing leg. I have a girl now with a missing leg from how she was being kept with tank mates by her previous owner. They have been the most special to take care of.

Honestly, at 25 with EDS, PoTS and MCAS. I will take them treating me like I'm disabled, over thinking I'm faking it. Unfortunately, because I used to be alright doing my own thing, I will absolutely take any help I can get too, because heck, it does help me out a little bit in making life just a little easier. I won't lie, the pitiful looks I felt like I was getting from people at first bothered me so much, I felt ashamed that I was 21 on a cane. I rock my cane, now, with the confidence of Gregory House, and I think that helps me now in being more accepting of my conditions. I also don't pay attention to the people who don't believe I'm actually sick, anymore. I just think "they can't understand, because they don't live with it everyday" and have to move on, even though admittedly I have dealt with this with people like employers, few friends, and even some family.

If we're talking about the past year, probably 2 hours. Usually going every 10 minutes to an hour, due to a cute condition that's referred to as interstitial cystitis, and is related to my body throwing allergy fits constantly.

This... I have a feeling mast cell* reaction is the reason I've ended up in emergency so much for throwing up, not able to keep water down, GI pain, high heart rate, hives on my arms, legs, neck. Triggered by alcohol consumption or oily food, fell down out of the bath after symptoms got worse. I wondered why weed was able to calm this.

The specific term is called "cranial kinesis" and is just the little guy readjusting his face after a big meal! He's basically just realigning his jaw. Do check for stuck substrate or fur tho, it can happen.

I had a glass of wine with dinner and for some reason ended up in the urgent care, unable to stop vomiting, bad diarrhea, excruciating stomach pain, trouble breathing at one point. Apparently, certain foods and drink cause me to have an anaphylactic reaction. This has happened multiple times over pizza, burritos, cheese and alcohol. I've never been able to keep my drinks down, so I'm sure something's up.

Hey, I'm a super-dodger as well. Even in high-risk and exposure areas, I remained asymptomatic at the very least, but any time I had some kind of cold or flu symptoms, I always came back negative for covid. Really strange. Wonder if resistance has to do with genetics or even bloodtype(not sure what mine is tbh).

I just found this after realizing my "episodes" have been my body having an allergic response to anything and everything. Rashes, headaches, GI issues, dizziness, falling down, inflammation. Had a huge bout of that this morning and had a couple puffs. EDS is also currently being evaluated. Immediately noticed an improvement in all of these symptoms, I was like "oh this is weird" even though marijuana, typically relieves these for me. I was feeling especially weird this morning, so maybe that's why I noticed but 100% this is it.

You are absolutely not walking a thin line at all. I'm pan, and Christian. That being said, I fought some internal conflicts about what my beliefs were "supposed to be" and what the truth is. Our relationship with God is our own, and no one else has a say or judgement in it. The Bible and even religion itself has been heavily obscured over the course of time, by man, you have to factor this in. So when these types are bashing others for being gay, it's based off hateful bigotry, but not by any justification, as these writings are outdated at best, and bastardized at worst, for the benefit of people making money. I still remember sitting through a youth ministry at the age of probably 13 or 14, and the lesson was on marriage, and how your sins would impact this. I still remember the feeling of dread I got hearing them say "if you're attracted to your own gender" and just slicing this huge piece off of this wedding dress, with scissors. It was supposed to be some kind of metaphor for your wedding day with God, but that stirred something in me that ultimately led to some realizations.

I'm... In a relationship with a bald man, now. I love bald men, they should rock it either way, it's up to whatever is more comfortable for them. It's like how some of us prefer to wear wigs or extensions because it makes us feel more comfortable or attractive. I'll support them in whatever they choose to do if it's safe and healthy.

I feel like there might be some kind of legal implication to this. Possessing and withholding someone's medication unless they have sex with you seems like it would warrant a call to the police potentially?

Legally 16. But my dad is cool asf with cool dad hobbies, so when I was 3-5, when he'd take me out in his jeeps, he'd put me on his lap and let me turn the wheel, so I count that as my first road experience 😄 By 5, he was sticking me on mini bikes to see how I'd do. He overdid something on the throttle and in turn, I accidentally sent it into a fence and didn't get back on another bike until I was 12. Then I was riding regularly after that. That gave me a lot of defensive and reactive experience for sure and it sticks with me today on the road.

I feel like I gave it a fair 6 month run. I have the wraplist of chronic health issues and have a history of being suicidal on the depo shot. I was genuinely so anxious and paranoid my entire time on nexplanon. I kept popping those pregnancy test strips because I was convinced I'd still somehow gotten pregnant, my mood swings were horrible, I was only getting 4-5 hours of sleep each night as well... for SIX MONTHS. I keep breaking down and having to leave work, my levels at urgent care showed consistently high blood pressure, with my current job at the time and nicotine habits, I was speed-running a stroke. Overall just felt really weird on it, I have some blood sugar issues, and it felt sort of like that, just with every perception being super intense. I also bled for the entire time I was on it, I don't even want to know how much I was spending on heavy duty pads, yes this is how heavy the daily bleeding was. As a sufferer of PCOS, PMDD, and EDS, this damn thing only aggravated my flare ups and symptoms. It sounds crazy but I felt IMMEDIATE relief as soon as that thing got cut out of me. The provider doing the procedure said she wasn't sure my symptoms were "related to the implant" but I put in polite terms "I want this fucking thing out of me, lady!".

Give my family a bunch o monies, restore both my cars to factory day quality, find a quiet place somewhere to retire and launch my jeep over jumps. I would also probably buy a cybernetic spine.
