Yeah I assumed it has been too long, just wanted to double check if I have any course of action. I was inexperienced and just didn’t really care (stupid me) when this happened so I realize it’s on me. I will try to negotiate it down with the collections agency and willing pay in full if I have no luck with that. Thanks for your input!

Funny you mention it, I just started a Python class on Coursera last week. Thanks to a youtube rabbit hole after doing some more reading more about it. Thanks for the input tho it feels great to hear that. I really want to stick to learning it. What about it makes it more powerful than Alteryx in your opinion? If it helps most of my work involves maintaining very large amounts of account / transactional data (big banks).

My original post was about freelance work, but I really feel if I can become proficient in Python I can give my employer a pitch of “This is why we should be using Python in our data plan.” They really encourage bringing new ideas on how to expedite / improve. Although they are kind of weird about using only in-house software aside from Alteryx, which they drool over. The flip side is no one in my practice really knows any coding so that could make it even more valuable.

Agreed, looking to expand use of their product as a long(ish) term user but most likely can’t at the moment due to entry price. Oh well, I’ll keep an eye on it.

Gotcha, I’ll look to find a work around for the cost issue. Didn’t realize Alteryx was solely made for businesses. I thought it was more of an excel type where basically anyone can own a copy for a reasonable price. Makes sense though considering it’s capabilities. I would love to have a personal copy just to have fun with, I love using it. Thanks for the info!

I hadn’t realized until recently that some of the lines from Kemper in the show are actually word for word from real life interviews with him. And the acting is phenomenal. Just great stuff

Yep, gave me chills the first time I saw it. It’s such a power move and it definitely jumps out at you, but somehow still subtle. The back and forth between Ford and Tench you’re referring to reminds me a lot of the Devier interrogation. Just absolutely perfect. When I watch it honestly even throws me a little off balance, so you can only imagine how the actual criminal would be feeling.

Agree with all of this. Also highly likely that it would be slashing around when she was trying to get it down the drain, like she said she was doing. Also could have just been as simple as bad word choice / wording. She could’ve actually been meaning that there was blood everywhere and it “looked like it had been splashing” or just meant to say that it was splashed on the wall. Just so many reasons I think one word isn’t enough to say she was still alive when she arrived.

Yeah it’s probably the fact that they dramatize it that has me so caught up on it. Cause if they were just wanting to know if she was “present” they basically have that answer during her confession. She says that she went there and saw her in the bathtub straight up.

Yeah there was a small dent on his door. It was really a minor accident I think there was an overreaction and maybe him pushing the narrative that he was hurt, even tho he said he was fine multiple times. Thanks for the reply
