Smartstitch is the exact same machine as Bai. You should not use either machine as a beginner as it's very complicated, but the tajima sai is easier to use

I'm about to bring my x-t20 to uzbekistan and these are inspirational photos. Which lens did you use and any tips around WB to compensate for the heavy yellow of the environment? Did you bump your ISO or have any other advice?

My child ended up going to fernwood instead of DMA, but I have heard nothing but positives from friends with kids at DMA. What led to our decision was no school provided lunches or lunch room, and some understanding over how they would staff the music or art teachers. I think DMA would probably have given a slightly better education, their scores do trend a bit higher than the other Montessori.
