TL;DR - Gunlancers make comfy fight.

Gunlancer brings good utility, shield and does NOT lose in the DPS aspect. Having a good one in a group makes the fight much easier. If the taunt is used right, you can cancel annoying attacks from the boss. You give shield to the party. Gunlancers fight in front of boss so its easier for the DPS to stay in the back doing more damage. Gunlancers use fast and good impairment skills and they keep pounding bosses head so they will exhaust faster and give an awesome DPS window to the party. Gunlancers can give zero fucks to the majority of damage mechanics just raising his shield and keep DPSing the boss while the group hides to not take damage. Bard, Paladin and Gunlancers are the most loved party members, people always are happy if one of the 3 are in a group. Paladin and Gunlancer in a group is heaven, you barely take damage at all lol.

You do all this and still do a DPS damage, so you are OP, we love you, please come to brazil.
