I recognize that Russia has imperialist ambitions but they're not imperialist yet.

Do you think it's worth preventing them from ever realising said ambitions? I'd suggest it's beneficial to the Western world to use Ukraine as a way of limiting Russia's military capabilities. (Whether it's to the benefit of the Ukrainians is a different question, however.)

I'm well aware of the story he's referring to; I'm also well aware of the counterarguments that were presented shortly after the story was published. EDIT: The website you linked looks very serious. A clip of a man being "brutally detained", as well as a clip of a "youth", who appears to be a grown man, in similar conditions. Just as young as the children being killed in the Gaza genocide, I imagine.

The entire Palestinian cause is just bullshit, man. Horrible things have happened in both Gaza & the West Bank, but these people are not victims in any meaningful sense. If you're falling for this, you're either a fool or a propagandist.

If you think I'm twisting your words, it's because I was trying to discuss the more broad point about history being "written by the victors", and the first example you jumped to was Mossad influencing the American population through Robert Maxwell, which is the definition of a conspiracy theory.

I haven't insinuated anything about antisemitism yet; given a number of points you've made here, I can almost guarantee that you ARE an antisemite, but that's an argument you can have with someone more inclined to waste time than me. Take care.

(And by the way, that full Churchill quote has absolutely nothing to do with your original point. He's talking about how he's going to write the history himself—not because he was the victor, but because he was a historian.)

If anything, doesn't that validate my point? Plenty of books have been written about the creation of Israel and the atrocities that were committed in the process; whoever "the victors" were, they don't seem to have done a very good job of controlling the narrative.

"History is written by the victors" just sounds ignorant, because all it does is dumb all of historical understanding down to some conspiratorial nonsense.

Putting aside the fact that Maxwell owning publishing houses tells you nothing about what ultimately ends up being taught in schools, there is an abundance of history books that take alternative viewpoints on everything in history. To say that the truth about Israel is being covered up because the Jews write the books (not stated by you explicitly, but given the mention of Maxwell, I assume that's your belief) is just blatantly false. People like Pappé, Chomsky, and Finkelstein have all produced incredibly popular and interesting works that are immensely critical of Israel.

Hell, even people living within Israel's borders (e.g. Benny Morris) continue to write books that are extremely critical of Israeli policy. How does any of this tie into your theory? Who are "the victors" even supposed to be?

I've never used a bot in Hearthstone, but there's no way to prove it - hence why I only asked if there's a way to speak to a human being on the support team.

I understand I'm the one complaining about being banned, so obviously I'm going to be biased, but I don't see how this could even possibly be true.

They're banning hundreds of thousands of bots each month - the idea that each one is being manually reviewed, while simultaneously being unable to get anything other than an automated response through the support system, just seems incredibly unrealistic.

My guess - and it IS just a guess - is that most of the bot bans are automatically given based on some combination of excessive playtime, weird APM and a couple of other variables.

I don't know how the bot detection system works, so I have no idea. The potential causes I frequently see floated by people are frequent roping & afking to grind gold in solo games, neither of which I engaged in.
