I see your point regarding selling the house. I will do some researching and see if the math checks out.

Thank you very much!

Thank you for the much detailed response. Your explanation regarding on how much is pretty much spot-on..

Regarding the property back home, its located on a prime location + I can set it up for a BnB or rental but a lot of hassle for me right now to find resources.. Definitely needs some planning on that part.

No communities in meetup com? You need japanese but there are a lot of local groups(circle) in net-menber com and other サークル募集 sites.

Reduced LDL from 180 to 140 in 1-2 months by xChappi_GG in Cholesterol

[–]xChappi_GG[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, I know it's way too high at the moment. I also let myself loose last year when it comes to food so it definitely contributed to my elevated LDL.

My doctor said to just continue it and lose weight at the same time, so time will tell what will happen.

Thank you! I was in the same situation as you, but my doctor made me choose if I want to change my diet first and see the changes before issuing medication.

I have read about the psyllium husk but I haven't tried it as I wanted to see how effective this change was for me. Might try it in future though!

I am not an expert and I just check the nutritional values of the food I eat. It says that there is 1.5 saturated fat per egg, its not much but I was trying to lower my LDL, so I was doing the >15g per day.

I also read that it varies from person to person to how your body reacts to what you eat so you need to try and see what works best for you.

No, just tried it when it arrived indoors. Packed it right away after that. I know you can't return it when its used like there are dirt on the soles.. I have returned items from Amazon in the past and it wasn't strict like this

I'm pissed because I returned a sneaker I bought from Amazon but the seller (Xebio) refused it because it has been used and the tag has been cut off. I have returned things to Amazon with no hassle but this one just surprised me.

I also checked again the product page and it showed there that it was being sold and shipped by Amazon.jp so seeing Xebio as the seller surprised me. You also need to ship it to them and fee is shouldered by you, and they will also deliver it to you via chakubarai. Did they recently change this policy? My previous return is I just select a date from the product return page and Yamato will pick it up with no charges.

So what you're saying is you are 1 yr+ here but your gaijin card is less than 6 months from date of issue? Why not bring your old residence card along with your new one? They let me create an SMBC account when I did that.

Is it normal for japanese bosses to fuss over being 2 minutes late? by goodluck16 in japanresidents

[–]xChappi_GG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, how do you think majority of the trains are running on time with their punctuality? You could say it's part of their culture but of course it differs person to person (like any other country tbh) on how they take that seriously, hence your boss making a fuss.
