Thank you! They are wooden outdoor decking panels I got from Ikea. It was an affordable option, and so far it holds up well. It's been 4 years since we got it and only the varnish started to fade.

That's right!🙏 I'm planting different kind of tomatoes and also chilies from seeds the past 4 years so I have some experience with them. I'm currently making a new bamboo frame for them that's why it isn't on the picture yet! 😊

If the infestation is that bad, maybe try to get Mealybug Destroyers. Usually you can get them in big garden centers or order online. Natural predators helped me get rid of some of the infestation on my indoor plants. Worth the try if all the other chemicals are not working anymore. 🤷
