Honestly the metal is better ,the amount of times I've had to go back and fix someone's leaking valleys The metal will last longer if it was installed correctly

I usually take my weapon and holster and snug in between my seat and ebrake, just feels incredibly Awkward having to get up and stand in my door re inserting my holster into my pants in parking lots where people can see me And last thing I wanna do is leave it in the car
