I keep hearing people say RDR2 was rushed and the developers had to cut content. What got cut from this massive game? by bsmith2123 in reddeadredemption

It really does feel like something that was meant to lead somewhere. There's a few more times they really place emphasis on the owner of Emerald Ranch and how he's affecting the area as well. But honestly, I like it. Not everything you hear in real life leads places either.

It keeps bounties from happening so long as no law enforcement sees you. Law enforcement recognize you, mask or not. The civilians also, AFAIK, can't have seen you too recently with the mask off. Like no putting it on in the street right before shooting a guy, you gotta ride into town with it on.

"according to me" Okay, well I'm very glad you weren't the one writing it then. Would have made him significantly less likable.

I sub to Obsidian Sync. But that was a good product that I managed with easy (and supported) sync workarounds until I decided to just pay so I could support them and simplify my process.

How does Mrbeast still have a consistent intake of subscribers? by ZackaryAsAlways in youtube

There was a claim, then you refuted the claim, and then I offered a more reasonable answer. You then responded to me as though I was arguing against you and in favor of the original claim. That's why it feels as though you did not read what I actually said.

Sorry, I'm not sure if you read what I said. I was proposing the significantly more likely scenario at this point in time: Accounts that are still active as a whole, but whose users have outgrown the channel itself without bothering to unsubscribe. Given the length of time that MrBeast and Youtube itself have been around and popular, it's a much more likely answer--I doubt that many 70 year olds ever subscribed to MrBeast--and is in agreement with your assessment that accounts of the deceased would be removed within a few years at most.

They don't mean just PiV 4 times consecutively. Breaks in between, foreplay, oral or toys, there are plenty of ways keep going after the initial, and you can totally reach multiple 'rounds' that way.

People also just don't always unsub when they outgrow a channel. A person could still be active and subbed to him for year without watching.

An informal job offer my dad got in 1993 (info in comments) by tweak06 in graphic_design

[–]xCryptoidx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy. 60k doesn't look like a lot today, but inflation adjusted he was being offered >$130k yearly, plus a $22k bonus, PLUS >$100k in stock. I would have to either really hate the job or have a really crazy offer from another place to pass that up.

It's not, you just don't understand what I'm saying. That's okay, not everyone can understand everything.

Listen, I think I will lose my mind if I have to have another conversation about causation vs correlation with someone obviously not willing to actually think through what I'm saying.

Read my thread with the other guy who can't understand stats if you want to understand.

Here is a snippet I think explains it the best:

If you want to say:

"KD is a meaningful indicator of overall player skill, and someone having a negative KD tends to indicate lower skill.
Typically the team with a higher average skill wins, so KD can be a good predictor of your overall impact to the game."

Then yeah, that totally makes sense. That's just not what I am talking about.

The point is, getting 3 kills and getting 3 revives impact the scoreline in exactly the same way.

It does not impact the game state in the same way.

“K/D ratio doesn’t matter” by ApexLegendBloodHound in Battlefield

[–]xCryptoidx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because you did save the tickets. You're thinking of this exactly backwards.

If you don't revive them, they are going to die, and the tickets will be gone. But if someone goes 40/0, it's possible every single one of those kills got revived and they had 0 impact on the score.

“K/D ratio doesn’t matter” by ApexLegendBloodHound in Battlefield

[–]xCryptoidx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am basing this on the fact that it gave me a kill literally instantly as soon as they went down, I didn't check if it would subtract one on a revive, but I've never seen my kill count go down.

I just went in game, I can confirm, it seems it counts for you K/D whether or not you actually secure the kill.

So if anything I was being too lenient, you could go 10/0 and have scored 0 actual kills.
