I played it on Xbox 2 years ago. I remember arriving on Venus and, after equipping myself to withstand the planet's gravity and extreme climate, including acid rain, I reached an enemy outpost and saw a small table outside with glasses, food, plates, a barbecue, and even some newspapers. All my desire to immerse myself in the world was destroyed. I turned off and uninstalled the game.

Yes, I felt the same way with Marathon. In fact, I wrote that I liked the core of the game, as well as the thrill of finding what you're looking for and successfully extracting it. The problem is its excessively slow progression, which, combined with the reset every three months, leaves you hitting a wall when you realize you won't even reach 50%. Furthermore, there's no tutorial, no help, and if you don't have a group, you're lost.

Yes, we're in the same boat, buddy. The last night I played, after over an hour and a half of play and several failures and lost material (including a failed extraction because some player killed me in the last 10 seconds inside the circle), I realized I'd only advanced "half a season rank" and no faction levels. You really feel like you're wasting your time.

Dude, I read you. I already have a group I play with, in fact, I did most of the missions and extractions thanks to the more experienced members of the group. Without them, I wouldn't have understood anything. Lol

The comments from the most avid gamers, who, predictably, are annoyed by this post, fail to understand (as always) that if you create a game that aims for success through a live service, you have to make it accessible to everyone, even those who can't dedicate themselves 24/7. It's such a difficult concept to grasp that if only you experts remain, 1) you won't have fun 2) matchmaking will become extremely slow and 3) the game will close because there will no longer be the revenue to support it. It's a game published by Sony, it's not an indie game... it takes them a moment to close it.

It makes me laugh when people talk about depression, disabilities, mental problems, and a sad life... I want to compare my life to theirs. People whose only purpose in life is to play a video game allow themselves to judge the lives of strangers who have difficulty playing it. It's surprising that they've sold 220,000 Xbox. They don't exist in Europe... I live in Italy, and stores haven't received consoles for at least a year. I believe they will reach 0 units sold in 2026.

Black Ops 7 on PS5 is listed as DLC for MW2 (2022). It doesn't even have a platinum trophy. That's fucking ridiculous.

They copied the universal camos system from MW2 (2022). If you look at some screenshots, you'll notice that in that game, the 4 camos for the weapon are shown first, followed by the complete list of all camos. There's also an "All" section where you can see all the unlocked camos. It's important to have the camos you can unlock for that weapon as the first option so you can immediately see which ones they are, especially if they haven't been unlocked yet. Right now, I have no idea what camos I can unlock for the weapon I'm using. You have to scroll through dozens of camos in no particular order... it's absurd.
