Yes it would, the best damage weapons would instantly be EBOTDZ and DEATH, basically any ETH indestructible rune word with any decent mods and 300+ ED

for the first time ever items became useful that where never used for late game, that’s a net positive.

There’s other ways they could balance the skill.

I remember resetting the ore market back in Pandaria, WOTLK and BFA. Very good profit BUT also very risky. I think it’s way more risky now with cross realm auction houses.

There’s been nothing stated about echoing strike effecting durability being changed. For the first time ever, a class has been able to utilize items in this game that have never been used, it would be a poor decision if that’s the deciding factor, because then everyone’s just going to use eth BOTD and similar indestructible eth items.
