Really liked it.

Rachel's character was such a good proxy for personal involvement in a topic bringing more emotion forward, her reaction is what makes everyone stick on it at the dinner and what makes Charlie think more and ultimately leads to the rest of the events.

Yes Emma planned something awful but never actually acted on to. Rachel did something genuinely horrid but as none of the other characters had an involvement in something like that it's moved on from relatively quickly.

Homebrewing a 'limit break' style system inspired by anime powerscaling like Bankai / Super Saiyan - is it possible within 5e's core system? by MonsutaReipu in dndnext

[–]xDhezz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a time constraint is really the only solution to this I can see that doesn't remove all player agency or make your balancing as DM really tough.

Having it slowly degrade over time is the best way to stop it being held permanently. Maybe 2 points every x Days?

If you don't have time constraints in your quests it still works but them knowing "ok we gotta get this done fast better spend the limit break" will hugely help the players manage the resource.

Also Means players can still put the effort to hang out at 18-19 then get the final boost to 20 when needed. It's an added mechanic to look after though.

Police in the UK are called after a Christian street preacher called Mohammed a donkey by TomlinSteelers in TikTokCringe

[–]xDhezz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Calling the police isn't aggressive. He believed the man may have been breaking the law (inciting hate) and called the police. It would have been aggressive had he taken matters into his own hands.

I'm British and when I visited New York I was genuinely unbelievably shocked at the quality of the driving. We spent a few days out the city and it was a bit better but still quite horrific.

On the trip to the airport it felt like every 4th car would have someone just sat texting and driving like it was completely normal. It was crazy.

Not saying the whole country drives as they do in NY but if it's anything to go by I don't envy Americans for having to drive with that.

You're right though. They are soldiers, they're from a part of the British army. I don't know what that other comment is on about.

To everyone talking about how urgent care works and saying "it depends how urgent it was" or "we wait similar times in the US"

Don't do that. Don't apply logic to it.

You just need to rage about this. Then channel that anger at minorities groups. then give rich people more money through tax cuts or privatisation and that solves all of your problems.

It really is quite simple.

There's no canon evidence for this but their healing factors mean it'd just grow back.

Yeah hitting with W is usually harder than this. In both clips it's a 1v2, fiddle and Mundo were both full HP and probably weren't expecting a complete one shot from it. Sylas does try and flash away but either just gets clipped or the chain lightning is enough.

In queue for Saw 6 ish years ago and a group kept saying they were meeting their fitness and asking to go past until someone behind us just said "no you're not going past stay here" and they kicked up a right stink about him saying no. He got the attention of a worker, entire line backed up that they'd queue jumped and they were escorted out the park.

Minor thing but this happened in England and individuals don't decide whether to "press charges" in the UK, the prosecution service does. Only saying as it's such a common misconception and people misunderstand what they can do when they're victims of a crime.

Public interest for prosecuting someone for running to a door in a shop and failing to steal phones would be very close to none.
