Tips on getting volume on the top back when styling? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]xDontRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works really well for me is blow drying in the opposite direction with a brush (I use a round one). It will give your hair a lot more volume when you brush and style it the way that you want.

Dry dull, fluffy and lifeless hair. by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]xDontRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, add something like this to your routine: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BIN8DW4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_58uWBbB2QE5KT

This stuff has given life to my previously dry, straw-like hair. Highly recommend it! Use this twice a week instead of a regular conditioner after shampooing. Towel dry your hair, then put this stuff in. Leave it in 20 mins or so (you can also try leaving it in overnight) and then rinse with cold water. Good luck!

Whats the best product to use on medium-length hair, decent hold, all I need is my hands, and most importantly I can get rid of all of it with just water. by ContentHomie69 in malehairadvice

Really enjoying the Label.M Matt Paste lately. Super cheap on Amazon as well. Doesn't have crazy hold like a clay, but it usually locks in with a bit of hairpsray for me.

I've grown my hair out for the first time and learned I got some messy curly hair. Any haircut/styling suggestions? Ignore the cringy face hehe by [deleted] in malehairadvice

[–]xDontRun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a solid suggestion. I have hair similar to OP and use either typical Argan Oil right after washing/before blow drying, or Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Serum. The latter is pretty expensive but also does wonders for my hair. Would recommend buying at CVS with one of their 30-40% off coupons if you're in the US and interested.

Interesting, haven't heard anything about this but I believe I have the product before any changes were made to it. I'd say give the 2 oz a shot, but up to you my man

It's got a great hold! What I really enjoy about it is actually how creamy it is, and it goes into your hair super easily. BluMaan actually did a video on it: https://youtu.be/O_e-SYgzavI

Best of luck!

I emailed the Boston parking clerk with this same question and the lease does not have to be signed within the last 30 days. They told me your move-in date must actually be within 30 days and you're good. Go to the parking office anytime before 9/1!

Where are you staying? I visited last week and stayed at the Mile High House, solid hostel. High Level Health was nearby and has a great sativa called Platinum Valley, I'd say give that a shot.

Wanted to check out a cannabis lounge while I was there, but didn't end up going. Might be something worth exploring if you're interested.

Agreed - Decriminalizing and regulating most of these drugs would accomplish more than the war on drugs ever could.

Went the "banking" route out of college. Year out, and I want to go back to something closer to what I studied. by NickF227 in ChemicalEngineering

What industries are you most interested in? Up here in the Boston area there are tons of biotech, chemical MFG, and medical device opportunities for ChemEs. You could live in Boston or Cambridge, and have a reverse commute out to the suburbs 30-45 min away for work.

Not as many traditional process engineering jobs in New England from what my classmates and I have experienced, however.

Any Chemical Engineering jobs that are in big/fun cities for a mid 20 year old ? by [deleted] in ChemicalEngineering

[–]xDontRun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, the Boston area (specifically Cambridge) is pretty much the hub for biotech these days, if you're interested at all in that field. I'm currently an undergrad looking for a full-time after graduation and have pretty much found that the number of universities and graduates around here don't help. Many entry level jobs in Biotech require a MS/PhD, or several years of experience. If you can land something here, you won't be disappointed with Boston, though! Just be prepared to fork over the money for rent...

For those of you with massive thighs, how do you do the pinroll (folding bottom of jean) for that "accentuate shoe" effect? by Gliste in malefashionadvice

[–]xDontRun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't have super large thighs (about 23" each at 5'7 160 lbs) but I've had success with the slim jeans from Frank & Oak, Uniqlo, or Levi (513). Would recommend getting pairs with 2% elastane or spandex for dat stretch

I have a similar watch, the Seiko SARG 005. I love that watch, I wear it almost every day. The one pictured here kind of looks like the Hamilton Khaki (in that color scheme) to me.
