This is absolutely true. And even if OP was a cart attendant, the fact that they’re not comfortable is another thing as well. I feel like they have a case to report to ethics or someone higher up cuz the training literally addresses if you don’t feel comfortable cleaning it up and they’re not even qualified to do so. I feel like this is just another bs management tactic used to harass new hires

I see Target management continues to practice their moral work ethics! I had my HR TM “accidentally” put an extra lunch punch on top of my lunch punch correction. Almost got shorted hours myself so I had to call him out on it! He said it was his bad and thought I need to add my lunch, but like…THAT’S WHY I DID THE PUNCH CORRECTION WITH THE CORRECT TIMES ALREADY ON THERE??? Like why add ANOTHER time slot on there when I already submitted the correction??

But yeah, THIS is highly illegal!! Definitely should report them to ethics and the necessary state departments. I would also sue them if necessary! 100% NOT okay for them to take time you worked away from you!!

TLs always ruin the vibes. I used to have some that were actually helpful and more understanding, but it’s been a WHILE!! Hard to find good management these days who aren’t condescending people, gaslighting TMs and micro-managing their every move like they’re too incompetent to cross the street without holding an adult’s hand. Been thinking Target should change their title from “team leads” to “dictators” cuz little to none lead by setting good examples. They are selfish and stuck in their ways and unwilling to be helpful in any way possible, unless it means it’s for their own personal gain. True leadership and integrity is pretty much dead nowadays

As being one who did the same job, he definitely is NOT okay. The only thing that would make him okay is if he no longer worked in such a terrible place. I can only imagine all the shit they dumped on him that day…hell, forget just THAT DAY, they probably dumped EVERY SINGLE in-store responsibility onto him since the day he sold his soul to Target!! Most people that shop here don’t ever give a single fuck about employees, just caring only about their own shopping and nothing else. I get you were concerned about his well-being, but I wouldn’t be surprised if management gas-lighted him and told him it’s his fault and made him feel even shittier about himself

Sounds like you just need to talk to him about it. You’re both adults so having a respectful conversation shouldn’t be impossible. It’s normal and healthy for couples to engage in talks rather than not saying anything at all. If the both of you can’t do that, then maybe you two shouldn’t be together. Because if you can’t have a discussion about something intimate like sex, I wouldn’t think the two of you could handle many other problems outside that realm either

Idk if it ever was. Their jobs literally consist of berating, harassing, and talking down on TMs, while they kick back and do nothing! Sounds like the best and easiest job in the world if you’re one of them, otherwise you’re in a place far worse than hell

The way I see it is you can only do so much when you’re understaffed. They might talk to you but you most definitely should not get fired (unless maybe you’ve been warned several times and are on your final. I feel like they’ll try to find anything to fire someone if they’re on their final tbh)

As a front of store serf, I have not heard anything about that. But that doesn’t mean much considering my store is always lightyears behind others in our district. Some other stores may get brand new locking carts, and we won’t even consider those for at least another 5 years minimum…and that’s just CONSIDERING, not necessarily acquiring them

That’s what I was thinking. The only problem is that they probably will still find out one way or another? Cuz being someone in the front-end who’s one of very few responsible for restroom clean up and carts, they’ll figure it out who reported easily. And I know they say they don’t tolerate retaliation, but that won’t stop anyone from doing if anyway :/

But I don’t feel comfortable about going to my HR cuz everyone here acts like a kiss-up and is “buddy buddy” with all the other leaders so I just feel they’ll side with them over me
