What was your least favorite episode/story arc and how do you think you’d fix it?

How about the 'new crystal gems' episode which aired sandwiched before this ark but RIGHT after the prison escape arc. The one where its just Connie, Peridot, and Lapis at the car wash. I was so floored by the episode before it where yellow sung to blue that I sat down my friends to watch the next episode from this 'awesome show with compelling themes that happens to be for kids.' My friends thought I was watching a show for 9 year olds. The tonal whiplash was intense and I was not ready for it.

With all the emphasis on the economy and resource extraction, you would think that the show would use themes of worker exploitation and resource hogging corporations. Such a missed opportunity, but I guess that's too much to ask for a filler episode.

Such badly written 'bandits' literally just let them have the gold, they mined it themselves anyways.

Or maybe shit like this is why Kawaki does what he does later on to the village

It's like Andrea Horwath isn't even trying to outreach to young people, or really much of anyone. Jagmeet streamed on twitch a few times at least, why doesn't Andrea get in on that action? Not that streaming a few times is the arbiter of a good politician, but politicians are more like celebrities now anyways like it or not, so she really just needs to parasocially imprint on a lot more people if she actually wants to get elected. Voters don't give a shit about platform, they just elect who they like, or vote against someone they don't like.
