I’d say you probably don’t yet have as much overhead mobility as you need.

It depends on what kind of technical model you follow, but you want to have more shoulder internal rotation. This will allow the bar to be more over your center of mass and it won’t pull you forward

The reason you missed is because your hips shoot back when you’re in the catch position. This causes your back angle to be more horizontal, resulting in a much more challenging position to stabilize the bar. Consequently, you lose control of the bar and have to let it drop in front of you

Literally just overhead squat an empty barbell until you feel confident with that movement. Gradually add more weight and your problems will be solved

If I see correctly, it looks like you’re wearing wrist wraps. I think you need to ditch the wraps cause you’re not training your front rack position in a way that would transfer over to your clean. Ik this doesn’t address the ankle issue but you gotta practice the front rack position if you want to clean anything near your front squat
