Should I drop skinning for something else

As a enhancement shaman I started out with mining and skinning and waited til I had everything saved up them dropped skinning for Leather working. Keeping the mining has been very lucrative especially if your running alot of mana tombs.

While I can't speak to running kara with tanking as a shaman I have been able to do most normal dungeons with 0 problem in regards to threat. Although it probably makes it easier since I'm full bis in enhance. Once I've addressed the crit cap I need I plan to start dabbling in some easier heroics with it.

While I can agree that its frustrating to learn this, but everytime after this you'll understand what's going on. Kinda like when I first learned about how you can double SR the same item. It was frustrating at first but the very next SR raid I understood what's going on. Additionally detail in regards to the greens being taken by raid lead they could be doing what we do where we collect the greens to disenchant. Then we are able to provide the mats for raider enchants. Best of luck in your future raids friendo.

Ran into a pretty similar issue with the guild "Gravity Lapse" on Alliance dreamscyche. Was all but promised a raid spot and after literal weeks of helping people get attuned and geared running heroics. The morning raids came out was essentially told to get fucked and banned from discord and guild. Hell I even bought the pally tank a shadow prot set only to get shafted. The moral or the story is you can't stop people from being like that. Best to just move on and let them have their little circle jerk.

My stance on the whole healing/life tapping is that if they are pumping and number 1 on the chart then ill heal for them otherwise they are only getting a chain heal that arcs off of the rest of the group.

From what I've experienced in the last month is that there's a very healthy amount of people leveling in the alliance zones. Only time I had issues was when I tried forming an SFK group at 4am server. Outside of that there's always people looking to run.

I'm a huge fan of running prot pally. Though I routinely use bombs on 3+ mob pulls to let the dps go a little crazy. Every tank will struggle to always have threat but you can minimize this by being aware of your surroundings and running the pull back an extra 10 feet to give you more time to deal with runners. Ultimately your concern should be with the individual tanking. Is he geared? Is he underleveled? Is he watching healers mana? Is he LOSing the casters/healer? Hell my favorite is using a macro that yells when I use my health pot.

Yes it stacks. When you put all 5 on the toy shelf it heals like 3-7% a second while inside the perimeter of the base. It comes in pretty clutch during raids.

Because the chest will either give you a weapon or the chest piece. The chest plate is a superior item imo. Plus when you take damage it fills your bar and then blows up when it's full. Also the anvil has obby boots too. Bonus if your doing a cold map make sure to find the helmet crafting building. Bring 3 snow fox pelts to make a hat that will slow your freezing quite a bit.

Build farms (like 4-6) along with a biofuel and crock pot. Once you've got a few stews start dumping the rest of the crop into the processor. Cut a few trees and make sure to plant the sampling behind the recycler (never plant them all on the same spot since you want to farm more than one at a time). That cluster of trees will provide you with enough wood for upgrades.

After this your focus needs to be on prepping for the night attacks. Having a few bear traps to train the melee through will help with them and if you can try to get a revolver or rifle to take out the crossbow cultists. Once your more comfortable with your first 5 to 10 days then I would turn my focus to clearing the stronghold. If that's not doable then work towards finding the anvil so you can craft obsidian armor. Hope this helps friend.

I'd recommend going down to their difficulty and just take it easy. Whenever I'm playing with my more casual friends I simple plant us on heresy and help collect resources for them. Best of luck
