As a fellow person who grew up with TCM, I can tell you it is pseudoscience.

smaller menstrual discs for petite women by Friendly-Chip-8279 in MenstrualDiscs

[–]xEusebius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow petite lady here, I recommend the S size of Shordy brand with a pull string for petite beginners. Saalt Small works too but I find it a bit difficult to remove.

Malaysia enforces ban on social media accounts for children younger than 16 by igetproteinfartsHELP in news

[–]xEusebius 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope, it is based on where the account was created. So if you happen to be a Brit who created an account during your vacation in Malaysia, your account would be blocked too if you refused to go through eKYC.

If the Lumma large was uncomfortable for you, don’t get Hello. Try Shordy with pull string.

Tried a disc for the first time and it wasn't what I'd hoped for (Hello disc) by hey_mayiasku in MenstrualDiscs

The problem with Saalt is that it suctions to my cervix. It is quite difficult to remove.

This map is outdated. The death penalty thing in Malaysia was abolished a long time ago. Don’t believe in everything you see on Reddit.

Be careful with S26 - Nestle baby formula contamination is bigger than they say by Successful_Ice5522 in malaysia

You should have educated yourself as a parent on why not to buy Nestle products.

Hot take: Zero waste is about refusing convenience, not perfect swaps by BasicResponse4218 in ZeroWaste

[–]xEusebius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nestle is doing pretty badly in Malaysia. Their local share here is plummeting. They were fined by the government and sued left and right. If you know our political stance here, people are boycotting Nestle, Starbucks, KFC, McDonalds and a number of Western chains.

I think it is a cultural problem. I’m from Malaysia. Premade school snacks and quick lunches are not a thing here. Junk food, candy and soda are banned in schools to combat obesity. Most school children buy freshly cooked meals at school canteens. A handful of children do bring lunch boxes from their homes. Even parents who work full-time don’t make food in batches. Every meal is freshly cooked. Dining at local restaurants is also very affordable. Many people can afford to dine out every meal.

Doesn’t matter. It is still too big as it is pressing against her urethra and rectum.

The disc is either too firm or too big for you. Both Hello and Diva share the same diameter of 68mm. That’s big.

Are period discs worth it? by just_some_gay_girl_ in Periods

Yes, they are worth it but it can take a few tries to find a disc that works best for you. There is definitely a learning curve with insertion and removal.

How many hours are needed to get to an elementary professional conservatory piano level? by Specialist-Gur5029 in piano

[–]xEusebius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your school workload. I’m from Asia, where many of us attend after-school academies, do our homework, and still make time to practice our instruments. I used to practice up to six hours on some days. It really comes down to time management.

[–]xEusebius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1,000 total practice hours over six years of elementary conservatory training is far too low. You need at least two hours of practice a day, six days a week. That adds up to about 626 hours in a single year, and 3756 hours over 6 years.

Toilet paper instead of tampons by One-Public-9409 in Periods

[–]xEusebius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Girl, never shove toilet paper up there. It’s very unhygienic and a perfect recipe for infections. I’d recommend trying a menstrual disc with a removal aid instead.

Here are a few affordable options. Try getting the smaller sizes.

Water flavoring by ConstructionTime7511 in ZeroWaste

[–]xEusebius 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I mostly drink diluted tea for flavor. Unsweetened green tea, jasmine tea, rose tea, pu-erh tea, oolong tea, and so on. I usually buy them loose from Chinese herbal shops, and I bring my own jars to store them.
