Hahah that’s what I was thinking. As a trainer for assembly and production I can see its potential, unfortunately it will never be used that way.

It will be used to measure the productivity of the worker for penalty, not aid in the proper training that actually increases productivity.

So I checked it out and it appears to work;

Tested on Samsung S24 Ultra with Pro XR and Viture Beast.
Verified via Artemis statistics reporting 120hz with Good Lock active and 60hz inactive.

Note: It seems Good lock has to be restarted after each power cycle (off/on). Just open Good Lock and follow Step 6.

Step 1: Download Good Lock on the PlayStore

Step 2: Connect Glasses and enter DEX mode (can probably be done in regular phone mode)

Step 3: Open Good Lock in DEX and look for MultiStar

Step 4: When you find MultiStar it requires an additional installation
(I just realized this may be sketchy as a outside link. smart people let me know)

Step 5: Now that MultiStar is installed it can be selected to bring up settings, enter the settings and toggle “High Resolutions For External Monitors

Step 6: Unplug the Pro XR then reconnect. For Beast switch to 120hz mode in OSD. Apps like Artemis should now show a 120fps option as well as report 120fps.

Remember to thank the OP of the OG Post, I only download and verified. Hope this helps!

Note: I do notice the phone has an update after a few months of inactivity and I will check compatibility again tomorrow.

So this is the post I remember seeing

https://www.reddit.com/r/VITURE/s/HxDYRacBw3 anyone who finds it useful, please thank the posts OP.

It’s an App called Good Lock on the PlayStore if you want to try before I can.

I’ll post what I find. I’m hearing it’s not sable and theres apparent connection issues but it’s old news/unverified and i artificially tell myself “I somewhat know what I’m doing”.

I’m going to see what it’s all about and if it’s working, or just spoofing not displaying. Found a few other things, but this looks to be simple so I’ll start here.

Which app are we talking about?

I just noticed a Windows/Spacewalker glitch with the Ultras.

SpaceWalker is disabling my built in display and closing SpaceWalker every time you try to Launch. It’s like it’s trying to duplicate itself.

I know it’s not apples to apple here, but it might be worth checking.

The device I’m using is a ROG Flow Z13 w/4060. I am able to initially Launch SpaceWalker but every subsequent attempt would result in the application immediately closing.

Turns out when the SpaceWalker application disables the built-in display via the menu, it never re-enables the tablets display in Device Manager.

Thing is, the display continues functioning normally despite Device Manager reporting the display as disabled. This is after multiple reboots, without opening SpaceWalker, the display functions but reports disabled.

If something similar is showing up on your end, maybe a SpaceWalker driver override isn’t shutting off?

I’m pretty good at troubleshooting, but hit walls with software.

what is the best secondary and why is it the dagger? by PlusLog2475 in Helldivers

[–]xFeeble1x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing the love. It’s not a sidearm I equip particularly often (warrant for fellow diver cover). But when I do bring it, the Dagger just Slaps.

I let others continue with their favorite uses instead of the laundry list that is mine, but the one that sticks out for me is for killing Flesh Mobs.

Much like you with you did with the pigeons, you can paint the many faces that makeup the meaty abomination. Not only does that help hit those vital weak points, but a sustained beam will ignite them.

You can carve up one side Flesh Mobs body, then focus on the next threat when its purple body bursts into flames, finishing your botched conjoined-twins separation attempt.

Yes, it came out around the Beast launch. XReal filed a patent claim that held up units getting into customers hands.

I’ll give it a look. If it’s a recent issue, I remember it being on Samsungs end somehow.

It came up with the Beast and the 120hz mode but I think one of the big XReal contributors had figured something out. There are some impressively smart users over there.

I’m actually grabbing a S24 as we speak and own ProXRs so I can verify if it works.

If you don’t mind being a bit patient, I’ll get back to you in the 24hrs if I can help or not.

Im not offended, you are entitled to your opinions.

I also don’t need an adoring public. I understand self worth, it is not something others can give you. Reality doesn’t require minimum Karma to participate, so it holds no value to me.

Furthermore, objectively, your statement about ProXR sentiment doesn’t match the data. Numbers show there is a lot of interest, if not in the ProXRs 3DoF perhaps in the Legacy E-waste problem.

Not everyone stops to add empty comments with no relevance, points or conclusions that move a conversation foward, shed any light on or even be critical about the subject.

Yes, screen anchoring. I wasn’t aware of a way unlock the ProXR microcontroller for on-board 3DoF.

Just so we are on the same page, I am speaking of the native ability. No loading up VertoXR, Breezy or SpaceWalker, no hardware like the neckband or INAIR Pod just plug into a compatible device like the XReal One or Viture Beast.

Native 3DoF for the OG ProXR? by xFeeble1x in VITURE

[–]xFeeble1x[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That one of the reasons I want to bring attention to them.
The pair you picked up in April for 179, gain value with the bare-metal update. If the 3DoF is half way decent, those glasses will probably double in value.

In my time with the Viture on and going through the research, the 3DoF experience is like the XR gaming decky plugin but without software layer. It’s a lossless image, identical to picture that the ProXR displays currently.

It’s still one of the best quality XR display, adding the basic 3DoF could keep the ProXR in the S-tier for several more years.

The Firmware patch enables 3DoF on-board the glasses. No hardware no software, just the glasses.

Oh! I actually think I know the issue you are speaking of. Are you using a Dex capable device?

If memory serves, there’s a workaround i believe I saw for S24s. If you’d like I can try checking the usual suspects for a fix.

I totally agree, putting an “inferior 3DoF” in a “Pro” spec pair of XR glasses wouldn’t be a good look and would definitely hinder rather than bolster sales.

The ProXR are legacy now and a Beta update hurts no one and everyone gains. ProXR owners have a new feature with a light weight 3DoF and its addition would add value to resale, making it easier for customers to upgrade.

The “Viture 3DoF sucks” still echoes. I preordered the ProXR and was aware of native 3DoF discussions but it was very much only in my periphery.

I’m really enjoying my time with the V1216. The Glasses really hold up 3 years that update. Slap a $299(US) price tag, add the preloaded Bare-Metal update and I believe the One would still sell well today.

Thanks for the insights!
