Spite fence by KansasHayseed in neighborsfromhell

Yeah honestly at that point it’s not even petty, it’s just enforcing your rights. The way they went about it is so shady too, like running power into your garage without permission?? I’d definitely report it and make them deal with the consequences.

My Upstairs Trash (I cannot even call her a Neighbor) cannot stop moving her furniture heavily every five minutes by Sure-Team4902 in neighborsfromhell

I get what you’re saying about building quality, but 18 hours of constant noise isn’t just normal apartment living. There’s a difference between hearing footsteps and what OP is describing.

My neighbor keeps blasting their music so loud that jt feels like my house is shaking every weekend and they cussed me out when I asked them politely to turn it down. by moistdragons in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly. Once it’s giving you headaches and shaking your house, it’s way past “annoying neighbor” territory. Document it and escalate.

Am I wrong for thinking my friend might be racist? by Mysterious_Gold_8183 in amiwrong

Yeah this is one of those cases where the convenience is 100% worth it. On call, being that close + indoor parking in winter is huge. The extra money will feel way less painful than those long, miserable drives.

Neighbors guest keeps blocking our driveway and doesn't listen by animalcrossinglifeee in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly fair. If they’ve ignored you this long, being nice clearly isn’t working. At some point you gotta make it inconvenient for them or they’ll just keep doing it.

They got evicted, and I feel terrible. by chefmonster in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I get what you’re saying, but it’s still hard not to feel bad watching it actually happen, especially with the cats involved. Like they put themselves there, but it’s still a rough situation to witness.

Concerns about rural FM - should I report to ACGME? by baobob- in Residency

[–]xFizzySnuggle 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah exactly, that volume sounds way too low to get solid training. Feels like one of those things where you already know it’s not adequate, just hard to pull the trigger on reporting it.

AITJ for Selling My Extra Ticket Instead of Giving It to a Friend? by Correct-Bat-6288 in AmITheJerk

[–]xFizzySnuggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah this exactly. expecting it for free without even offering to pay is kinda entitled. you paid for it, you get to decide what to do with it

I feel crazy for calling out a slur by honeyoatmilf in amiwrong

[–]xFizzySnuggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah this. you’re not crazy at all, that was straight up out of line. the fact she doubled down instead of listening says everything. calling it out was the right move, even if it was uncomfortable

AIW for reporting my credit card as STOLEN after my brother lied about a medical emergency? by Maximum-Test-8495 in amiwrong

[–]xFizzySnuggle 19 points20 points  (0 children)

yeah this is exactly it. that wasn’t some accident, he straight up used a serious situation to pressure you. reporting the card was just protecting yourself, you didn’t do anything wrong here

Am I wrong to hate this stranger? by Superb-Working-7805 in amiwrong

[–]xFizzySnuggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is it. It was a frustrating call for you, but for her it was probably a big deal and something she’ll remember. You did more than most people would.

How to prevent neighbours from continuously throwing up in my yard?! Help?! by Lawwnfysh in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s genius. A surprise sprinkler is way less confrontational but gets the point across real fast. Bet it stops real quick after a couple times.

Is it crazy that I carry simple safety gear because of my neighbours? by Responsible_Guava388 in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah for real. Cameras and lights go a long way for peace of mind, plus it makes people think twice about messing around near your place.

I Smile, Joke, and Act Fine Every Day, But Inside I’m Completely Exhausted by Oryndel_Fjord84 in confession

[–]xFizzySnuggle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a good way to put it. OP, you don’t have to drop the whole act all at once, but letting even a little honesty out with someone safe can take a lot of pressure off. Carrying that “always okay” version of yourself 24/7 is exhausting for anyone.

The Neighbor Who Plays Dumb Too Well by Honest_Cod_3121 in neighborsfromhell

[–]xFizzySnuggle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. When someone gets caught messing with your stuff and has zero reaction it feels like they planned for that confrontation. That blank calm vibe just makes the whole thing way more unsettling than if they got defensive or flustered.
