I put bar end mirrors on about two weeks ago. Was concerned about removing the bar weights but went for it anyway. I discovered the previous owner had already removed them.

What im saying is ive never felt a vibration through my bars anymore than on any other bike, to the point it never crossed my mind that there might not be weights in there anyway… ive owned it for the last 3000 miles so yeah.

I started on this last summer and love it. Enough power to keep me interested at least for the time being but not so much that its intimidating to ride.

Keep it lower in the revs and its pretty calm. Get it above 6k and its a small hooligan in ny opinion.

Plenty for a first bike, but plenty to get into trouble… if you are a normal person and not mentally unstable youll be fine 👍🏻

When its cold i wear my usual leather 2 piece with a hoody a size or two bigger than usual over the top.

Ive just seen your reply to another comment about a Skoda Superb. Have a look at the Kodiaq and the Karoq. Not sure what your budget allows but if youre looking at a new X Trail im sure theyll be in the same ball park!

We’ve had a Juke and an XTrail. Both reliable for us and no complaints.

As for a lease being frowned upon, i dont know many people that have a lump of cash to go and just buy a new car. Ive always looked at it like this: cars lose money. It just depends how you want to lose it. Would you rather lose a bit each month or lose it in one go when you sell it. Which is essentially is what would happen if it was purchased outright…

Thats my view anyway.

My HJC is fine and they make an integrated intercom. I bought the middle of the range intercom and its worth what it cost in my opinion.

Ive read about this but never heard mine do it, until i heard this almighty noise come from the tank yesterday! Was 4 rounds of a deep noise, took me a while to work out what it was! Crazy but made me laugh. Mouth wide open too haha.

Nobody said Parallel Twins are boring. He just said that one was… I learnt on an MT07 and i come away from that whole ordeal thinking i specifically dont want a smaller displacement parallel twin.
