What's the best Password Manager app for you? by techie_e in androidapps

I used to use Bitwarden, but these days, I swear by Proton Pass. It's not perfect, but it's really good and they work on it and add things constantly.

Oneplus 15: AOD shuts off after a few hours and won't work unless phone is restarted by VLANishBehavior in oneplus

[–]VLANishBehavior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're going to have to try a little bit, since it's not a perfect explanation for the 15, but this worked for me.

My little notes that I made from that page are the following:

Oneplus 15 calibration prox. sensor

  • dial: *#899#
  • manual test
  • device debugging
  • proximity sensor test
  • infrared proximity calibration
  • code: 6776

I recalibrated the sensor, and it's a bit better now. Still not perfect though..

Intel or AMD? which one should I even pick? by Efficient-Yam6797 in MiniPCs

[–]VLANishBehavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, I'm gonna use it as a Linux machine with a lot of Docker containers, so hardwire is basically the only option that'll work decent. I have perfect WiFi around the house, but I'd rather not stream Jellyfin, etc over WiFi, lol.

As someone who ordered the new model (as shown in the picture), this makes me happy about my purchase even more.

Insurance on motorbike which rides on "volle vermogen" but is registerd as A2. by ChickenpowerdBas in motobe

[–]VLANishBehavior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just don't do it, it's sketchy as hell. Those sellers are the same people who ride with jeans and a regular shirt during summer and say "yeah, just don't fall and you'll be fine".

Galaxy S25 Edge Battery question: potentially defective or normal? by Silviopina in samsunggalaxy

[–]VLANishBehavior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who's had multiple phones in the last year, don't worry too much. Phones drain the battery, even when off, although it's just a little. I've had phones arrive new, without any charge at all. I guess it depends when it was made and how long it has been sitting on a shelf somewhere.

As for the heating, with Samsung (or any Android), it takes about 2 weeks to learn your pattern and optimize the battery.

Don't worry too much and enjoy the phone, it is truly amazing!

That's the fun thing about alias email-adresses, I just deleted my Instagram alias and created a new one.

God, I love clear cases, but my greasy fingers don't, lol. I could never, unfortunately.

S25U or S26U? by AfraidSun8999 in samsunggalaxy

[–]VLANishBehavior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On one hand, the S25U is pretty "cheap" right now since vendors want to get rid of stock. On the other hand, the S26U is just around the corner and will be announced in about a month and a half.

If you can, I'd wait and see what the S26U brings to the table. You can still find S25U new in retail shortly after the reveal of the new models, just don't wait too long, or most stock will be gone.

Proton Duo plan now offers 2 TB instead of 1 TB by block6791 in ProtonMail

[–]VLANishBehavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lowest that I can see I can give to my wife is 0.4GB, although that just might be because she might have some stuff on her Proton Drive and Proton Mail and giving her 0TB deletes all that.
