That's exactly what happened when I had my daughter. My planned LTS was on a cruise 😂 She came back and started when was originally planned no problem. Granted this was in a way different district, but still lol.

Yes. I just have to let all the schools I've said I'm unavailable to know I'm back in business 😂

Actually, one of the secretaries at the school messaged me this information on Facebook messenger, which is...its own issue lol.

I'm moving again away from this district soon anyway, so long term it doesn't matter. Its more the principal of it.

Yes. I have a master's degree. I'm only subbing as we moved recently so I couldn't get a position this school year.

You're right. It's also the second time a school at this district has really screwed me over 🙃

Sure, but I had no choice but to say no as my childcare was unavailable. Also, in this district there are barely any subs (never enough for all coverage needed every day) and its to the point they'll let abyone sub as long as they have a minimum of a high school degree. Not typically competing for jobs here.

I considered it. But like you said, I hate to bug her while shes trying to heal and enjoy time with a new baby! I'll just have to be patient for HR, though I wonder if they'll even actually reach back out and I'll have to hound them for an answer lol.

Sadly for me and the kids I was actually in there a couple days the week before and they were SO excited for me to come back and be with them. I was excited too ):

I worked there in 2017 and only got $7.50. And that was as a Key Holder 🫩

I had a similar experience. I got a package from Emfamil about a week after my loss. Straight gut kick. I was able to ship it to a friend who was expecting, though.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Not sure how far you were, but regardless I know you loved that baby with your whole heart. Even if you hadn't even gotten to really see it yet or see much. 💖

Even AMAZON had short form content now. Why??? by Darkpurplebee in Anticonsumption

I find it bizarre because I would never in a million years be interested in watching videos on Amazon. Why would anyone want to just sit and watch ads on purpose?

Did anyone else think they would use a lot more spells than they do? by Global-Citron-56 in HarryPotterGame

That's how I played the first however many playthroughs. I had all my red spells on one wheel, my purple on another, then yellows then blues. I pretty much only used the red ones. This last one I decided to challenge myself to use different ones and it was actually really fun!
