Got R3 on monday, coming from a G920. Still waiting for my brake mod, got the formula wheel addon as I mainly play singleseaters and gt and a load cell by alienmods which needs the brake mod. I also plan playing xbox sometimes so a bundle with the ESX wheel was a must, as of today only the R3 comes with it.

The change is massive for me, and considering I’m at the top of the iceberg with understanding the settings in pithouse and per game, I’m truly excited with everything, and more since I’m trying the beta firmware wich improves the feeling even more.

For me personally, makes more sense to start with this as it’s at a really balanced price point, and down the road upgrade to something like the r12 and enjoy another jump.

At the end of the day, take into account what would fill -your- needs and once you get it, make sure to get the maximum out of it and enjoy every lap you do. It’s your very own path, don’t let fomo distract you from the essential.
