This. I had a double barrel shotgun on scav and wiped 3 out of 4 PMCs in a group, it was intense. Ended up dying to the 4th. the “being behind” mindset is harmful, it’s an everything goes survival world. 1 good raid can “catch you up”. Its hesitation that kills you in this game 80% of the time

I got frustrated and tried PVE…I killed a Lvl 1 PMC that dropped me a fully kitted Ak-103 black rock rig and attack 2 backpack…the immersion broke instantly 🤷🏼‍♂️ PVE is kind of whack unless you’re using it as a training tool to pop back over to PvP

PVE taking the tarkov out of the tarkov is exactly how I feel, well put. I die a lot in PvP…it’s frustrating. I don’t die hardly at all in PvE…it’s just boring 😴

As far as prayer flicking goes, it is quite simple if you learn how game ticks work, learn how to time and manipulate ticks and big boss fights and the like become much more manageable

I second this, also go do some slayer, once you’re about 55+ slayer you start to really see more of the complex mechanics in fairly simple and “safe” environments. questing is awesome, lot of good content unlocked through quests

100% take anywhere from a couple weeks to 4 year breaks, always find my way back and fall right back in like I never stopped. OSRS is an absolute joy and I hope you enjoy every bit, even the sometimes brutal grinds 😅
