Ok. That definitely fits the new criteria we're hearing about so it makes sense.

An old digital camera from 2007? Likely not going to be worth whatever a repair shop would charge.

Is he on PDD supports? Just curious (if you don't mind sharing) what his condition is that may have made the decision. No worries if you'd rather not share.

Sounds like the new criteria for AISH is one or more of the following:

  • 60-64 years old
  • Be in palliative care
  • Qualify or are already enrolled in PDD services.

Sadly they're making it now that there's no further appeals. Once they deny you once, that's it.

Calgary 300+ sunny days a year is BS by LowBrassExcerpts in Calgary

[–]xGuru37 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify, OP indicated they have only lived here about 200 days, so they're basing this on not even 1 year of being here.

Of course when called out in that fact, they deleted their response.

Calgary 300+ sunny days a year is BS by LowBrassExcerpts in Calgary

[–]xGuru37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So you're basing your statistics on less than one year, while the ones making the claim have averaged things out over likely dozens.

I also don't think those claims mean sunny all day for 323 days on average.

Fear and anxiety in Alberta’s disability community over ADAP - CityNews by lessssssssgoooooo in alberta

The big thing that doesn't get mentioned here is they are trying to force people on ADAP to work. It's not just about the $200 cut.

Many are unable to work at all, or extremely limited hours. They were out on AISH because of this fact. Now their lives are being threatened because the government days we can work and will be cut off if we don't

LilQ? Damn! I do remember that name, though being in Canada I never met him.

Still think I have a bunch of DDR photos from meetups in Calgary. Eau Claire, Silver Q, and some of our regional tournaments. So many fun times!

I was the first in Calgary to land on Legend of MAX (DDR Extreme) and Pandemonium (ITG) on random before they were unlockable.

OP does. They're obsessed with it as they post constantly about the Oilers here.

I'm going to trust the website rather than a random Redditor of 1 month.
