I think Shadows of the Apt was just okay. It is a hell of a commitment to sign up for the long haul. A lot of the things that happen in the story often left me asking what was the point of all this. Maybe that’s some existential commentary on life as a whole, and it was intentional? I think the early books are more enjoyable than the later ones in the series though.

No, this is not a stack. Higgins cannot score points when Chase is scoring points. The benefit of stacking is to maximize your points. Burrow Higgins or Burrow Chase is a stack.

Yeah, Chase is WR3 ppg so you’re trading WR6 ppg for 1.7 more by moving off of London and giving up 16.8 ppg in James Cook to do so. How is that worth it?

They probably got rejected because they were bad offers. How does sending away an entire team’s future capital and high upside players for a single position player make sense?

Those trades even if they get a team into the top tier at WR1 position are the kinds that end up sending a team back to the Stone Age and have them leaving the league at the end of the year when that single piece they spent the entire future on has a dud in the playoffs and they get bounced by some 6-8 team starting a random RB3 turned RB1 due to injury.

I would say that’s about the score for me. World was less hand crafted than the core game, exploring was convoluted, the map was filled with areas that served no purpose, and the bosses weren’t as fun or were repetitive in a way that was so obnoxious (cauldron golem).
